Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran Jigsaw dalam mata kuliah Bunpou III secara daring pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan berupa mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami pola kalimat pada materi bunpou dan dibutuhkan model belajar yang dapat mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran. Model Jigsaw dipilih sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada karena model ini memiliki ciri khas belajar kelompok dimana materi belajar dapat dibagi ke setiap anggota dan dapat menumbuhkan kerja sama saling ketergantungan secara positif, sehingga pembelajaran akan terasa lebih ringan dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dan desain penelitian pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest yang terdiri dari satu kelas sebagai sampel penelitian yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jepang yang mengikuti mata kuliah Bunpou III di kelas B yang berjumlah 23 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Jigsaw pada mata kuliah Bunpou III secara daring dinilai efektif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis data yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung dengan hasil 4.31 lebih besar daripada nilai ttabel taraf signifikansi 5% dengan hasil 2.01. Dengan kata lain, H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak karena thitung > ttabel (4.31 > 2.01). Selain itu, hasil angket tanggapan mahasiswa diperoleh 95,7% mahasiswa mengatakan bahwa model pembelajaran Jigsaw efektif dilakukan pada mata kuliah Bunpou III secara daring. Dengan adanya kelompok ahli dan kelompok asal, setiap mahasiswa mendapat tanggung jawab mempelajari materi bagiannya dan menumbuhkan keterlibatan dalam belajar. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model Jigsaw secara efektif dapat mendukung kegiatan belajar mahasiswa dalam memahami materi, khususnya dalam pembelajaran Bunpou III secara daring. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Jigsaw learning model in Bunpou III online course for students of Japanese Language Education Program, at State University of Jakarta. The background of this study is the problems experienced by most of students who took the Bunpou III course, including difficulty in following the Bunpou III course because the difficulty in understanding Japanese grammar and a learning model is needed that can support learning activities. The Jigsaw model was chosen as a solution to resolve existing problems because this model has characteristics of group learning that learning material can be shared among each member, develop positive interdependence and cooperation so learning will feel more enjoyable. This study uses a pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest method and research design consisting of one class as the sample selected by purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study were students of the Japanese language education program who took the Bunpou III course in class B, with a total of 23 students. The instruments used are pretest, posttest, and questionnaire. From this research, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw learning model for the Bunpou III online course is considered effective. This is evidenced by the results of data analysis which shows that the tcount value with a result of 4.31 is greater than the ttable value of a 5% significance level with a result of 2.01. In other words, H1 is accepted, and H0 is rejected because tcount > ttable (4.31 > 2.01). In addition, the results of the student response questionnaire obtained 95.7% of students saying that the Jigsaw learning model was effective in Bunpou III online courses. With the existence of expert groups and home groups, each student has the responsibility of studying the material for his part and developing involvement in learning. It proves that the Jigsaw model can effectively support student learning activities in understanding the material, especially in Bunpou III online courses.
