Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh properti psikometrik instrumen silence yang dimodifikasi ke dalam konteks kecurangan akademik dengan menggunakan pemodelan Rasch dan melakukan uji validitas diskriminan dengan konstruk burnout. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 774 mahasiswa aktif dari berbagai universitas di Indonesia yang terdiri dari 193 laki-laki dan 581 perempuan yang berusia 18-24 tahun. Hasil penelitian dengan pemodelan Rasch menunjukkan 14 butir dinyatakan valid karena memenuhi tingkat kesesuaian butir. Instrumen silence memiliki validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik karena nilai yang diperoleh berhasil memenuhi syarat pengujian (variance explained by measure 61,6%; item correlation > 0,2; observe average berurutan dari -2,32 menuju 1,77; reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach 0,95; reliabilitas butir 0,99; reliabilitas responden 0,92). Instrumen silence memenuhi syarat validitas diskriminan (signifikansi 0,003; nilai koefisien korelasi 0,118) dengan konstruk burnout. Demikian juga dengan keempat dimensi silence terhadap konstruk burnout yang juga memenuhi validitas diskriminan (signifikansi 0,000; nilai koefisien korelasi 0,105-0,143). Secara keseluruhan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen silence dalam konteks kecurangan akademik ini memiliki properti psikometrik yang sangat baik. Sehingga, instrumen silence siap digunakan untuk asesmen atau penelitian silence selanjutnya. The research aims to obtain the psychometric properties of the modified silence instrument in the context of academic cheating using Rasch modeling and conduct discriminant validity tests with the burnout construct. The samples in this research were 774 active university students from various universities in Indonesia consist of 193 males and 581 females aged 18-24 years. The results of the research with Rasch modeling showed that 14 items were declared valid because they fulfilled the level of item suitability. The silence instrument has good validity and reliability because the scores obtained successfully qualify the test (variance explained by measure 61.6%; item correlation > 0.2; observe average sequentially from -2.32 to 1.77; Cronbach Alpha reliability 0.95; item reliability 0.99; respondent reliability 0.92). The silence instrument qualified discriminant validity (significance 0.003; correlation coefficient value 0.118) with the burnout construct. Likewise, the four dimensions of silence towards the burnout construct also qualified discriminant validity (significance 0.000; correlation coefficient value 0.105-0.143). Finally, it can be concluded that the silence instrument in the context of academic cheating has excellent psychometric properties. Thus, the silence instrument is ready to be used for further assessment or silence research.
