Abstract

***** The aim of this study is to examine the correlation between Sternberg’s triangular theory of love: intimacy, passion, commitment, and relationship satisfaction of young adulthood in romantic relationships. The total number of 272 participants became samples of this study, it was obtained by using a purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection were acquired using Triangular of Love Scale made by Sternberg (1988) and Relationship Assessment Scale made by Hendrick (1988). Statistical analysis test to examine hypotheses was bivariate Pearson correlation technique. The result of this study showed significant level of 0.000 (p <0.05), which means there is correlation between intimacy, passion, commitment, and relationship satisfaction.
