Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop Busy Webon thematic learning in an effort to reduce maladaptive behavior of class VI autistic students at Matahari Bunda School. The method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Learning activities include reading comprehension based on story text, learning videos, online quizzes, project assignments, and evaluation games. Busy Web media was reviewed by experts through a formative expert review evaluation assessed by media experts, material experts, and autism specialization experts. The results of the experts' review were that the media expert gave an assessment of 98% (very feasible), the material expert 93% (very feasible), and the autism specialization expert 100% (very feasible). Then the researcher continued the one to one formative evaluation stage of three mild autistic students at high, medium, and low abilities through an assessment instrument reviewed by the class teacher. Based on the results of the assessment, Busy Webmedia scored 96% with a very feasible category. So it can be concluded that Busy Web media is very feasible to use to reduce maladaptive behavior in students with autism in thematic learning.
