Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesepian terhadap romantic beliefs melalui mediator hubungan parasosial pada wanita lajang penggemar K-Pop. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode analisis Multivariant Path Analysis memakai PROCESS by Hayes dalam software SPSS versi 25. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian Romantic Beliefs Scale (RBS) dari Sprecher dan Metts (1989), Multiple Parasocial Relationship Scale (MPRS) dari Tukachinsky (2010), dan De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale versi pendek dari Gierveld dan Tilburg (2006). Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 225. wanita lajang penggemar K-Pop dengan rentang usia 20 – 40 tahun diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan efek mediasi antara kesepian terhadap romantic beliefs melalui mediator hubungan parasosial pada wanita lajang penggemar K-Pop. This study aims to determine the effect of loneliness on romantic beliefs through parasocial relationship as mediator in single women K-Pop fans. This study use quantitative methods with Multivariant Path Analysis using PROCESS by Hayes in SPSS version 25. Data collected by using research instrument of Romantic Beliefs Scale (RBS) from Sprecher and Metts (1989), Multiple Parasocial Relationship Scale (MPRS) from Tukachinsky (2010), and the short version of De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale (DJGLS) from Gierveld and Tilburg (2006). The sample of this study were 225 single women K-Pop fans with an age range from 20 – 40 years old obtained by using purposive sampling technique. The result of this study indicates there is no significant and mediation effect of loneliness on romantic beliefs through parasocial relationship as mediators in single women K-Pop Fans.
