Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh the triangular theory of love (intimacy, passion, commitment) terhadap self-disclosure pada dewasa muda yang menjalani hubungan romantis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan melibatkan 275 responden. Karakteristik sampel pada penelitian ini adalah individu bersia 20-30 tahun dengan minimal 6 bulan menjalani hubungan romantis. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Self-Disclosure Index (SDI) yang dibuat oleh Miller et. al dan Triangular Love Scale (TLS) yang dirancang oleh Sternberg. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilsi Sig. 0.000 yang memiliki arti terdapat pengaruh the triangular theory of love (intimacy, passion, commitment) terhadap self-disclosure. This study aims to determine the effect of the triangular theory of love (intimacy, passion, commitment) and self-disclosure among young adults in romantic relationship. The method used is quantitative research and involves 275 respondents. The characteristics sample of this study are person aged 20-30 years with at least 6 months of romantic relationship. The instruments used were Self-Disclosure Index (SDI) made by Miller (1983) and Triangular Love Scale (TLS) made by Sternberg (1988). The results of this study meaning there is effect of the triangular theory of love (intimacy, passion, commitment) and self-disclosure.
