Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mindset terhadap grit pada mahasiswa di Jakarta. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat ukur Grit-S yang disusun oleh Duckworth & Quinn (2009) dan alat ukur Mindset yang dikonstruksi oleh Sembiring (2017). Pada penelitian ini, sampel berjumlah 421 mahasiswa yang berusia 18-25 tahun dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Penelitian ini mengunakan uji regresi berganda untuk pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh mindset terhadap grit pada mahasiswa di Jakarta sebesar 23,1%. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of mindset on grit of college students in Jakarta. This research approach is quantitative. The measuring tool used in this research is the Grit-S measuring tool compiled by Duckworth & Quinn (2009) and the Mindset measuring tool constructed by Sembiring (2017). In this study, a sample of 421 students aged 18-25 years used a convenience sampling technique. This study uses multiple regression tests to test the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of mindset on grit in college students in Jakarta. In addition, this study found that mindset has an influence on grit by 23.1%.
