Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kecemasan antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di luar masa studi ideal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis uji perbedaan. Total subjek penelitian sebanyak 60 mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di luar masa studi ideal. Teknik sampling pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel kecemasan diukur menggunakan DASS-42 oleh Lovibond & Lovibond (1995) yang telah diterjemahkan oleh Damanik (2006). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kecemasan antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di luar masa studi ideal. Mahasiswa yang berjenis kelamin perempuan memiliki kecemasan lebih tinggi dibandingkan laki-laki. ***** This study aims to determine the difference in anxiety between male dan female students who are working on a thesis outside the ideal study period. This study uses a quantitative approach with difference test analysis. Up to 60 students who are working on a thesis outside the ideal study period were involved as research subjects. The sampling technique of data collection uses purposive sampling technique. Anxiety variable was measured using DASS-45 by Lovibond & Lovibond (1995) which has been translated by Damanik (2006). The results showed that there was a difference in anxiety between male and female students who are working on a thesis outside the ideal study period. Female students have higher anxiety than males.
