Abstract
Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dalam materi gaya yang dilakukan dengan melalui Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar tepatnya SDS Kartika VIII-2 Jakarta Timur pada semester II tahun ajaran 2022-2023 dengan jumlah siswa yaitu sebanyak 32 anak. Kegiatan penelitian dilakukan melalui penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 1 siklus dan dalam 1 siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Hasil belajar siswa diukur dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar yang dilaksanakan setelah siklus pembelajaran berakhir. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus pertama di pertemuan pertama memiliki rata-rata 64,50 setelah dilakukan penyempurnaan pada siklus pertama di pertemuan kedua, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat mencapai 73,67. Proses kegiatan belajar pada siklus pertama dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) mencapai 70%, dan meningkat menjadi 86,7%. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa pengunaan Pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) maka hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah Pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) sangat efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dalam materi gaya pada siswa kelas IV SDS KARTIKA VIII-2 Jakarta Timur. **** This classroom action research aims to improve science learning outcomes in style material which is carried out through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach. The research was carried out in class IV elementary school students to be precise SDS Kartika VIII-2 East Jakarta in semester II of the 2022-2023 school year with a total of 32 students. Research activities are carried out through classroom action research which consists of 1 cycle and in 1 cycle consists of 2 meetings. Student learning outcomes are measured using a learning achievement test that is carried out after the learning cycle ends. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle at the first meeting had an average of 64.50 after being refined in the first cycle at the second meeting, the average student learning outcomes increased to 73.67. The process of learning activities in the first cycle using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach reached 70%, and increased to 86.7%. Thus it can be stated that the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach has increased student learning outcomes. The implication of this research is that the Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Approach is very effectively used to improve science learning outcomes in style material in fourth grade students of SDS KARTIKA VIII-2 East Jakarta.
