Abstract
Permasalahan pembelajaran IPS khususnya materi sejarah di Sekolah Dasar menunjukan minat dan pemahaman peserta didik rendah karena bahan ajar yang digunakan kurang menarik. Mempelajari sejarah kemerdekaan Indonesia sangat penting untuk menumbuhkan nasionalisme dan rasa cinta terhadap bangsa Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengembangan E-Ensiklopedia untuk mempermudah pemahaman serta menarik perhatian peserta didik. Pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan, tingkat kelayakan, dan tingkat keefektifan pengembangan E-Ensiklopedia sebagai bahan ajar IPS materi persiapan kemerdekaan Indonesia untuk siswa kelas V SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang melalui lima tahapan yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas V SDN Cikini 01 Pagi yang berjumlah 27 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Pengembangan bahan ajar ini melewati tahapan validasi dengan tiga expert ahl yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Adapun hasilnya yaitu, ahli materi 92%, ahli bahasa 95%, dan ahli media 95%. Tahap uji coba produk adalah uji one to one, small group, dan field trial. Hasil penelitian pengembangan E-Ensiklopedia sebagai bahan ajar IPS pada uji coba pendidik yaitu 100% dan rata-rata peserta didik yaitu 92% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Sedangkan tingkat keefektifan E-Ensiklopedia sebagai bahan ajar adalah rata-rata nilai post-test lebih besar dari nilai pre-test (78,1 > 36,7). Berdasarkan hasil uji t, thitung (25) > ttabel (2,05), maka hipotesis (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, E-Ensiklopedia sebagai bahan ajar IPS efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Social studies learning problems, especially historical in elementary schools, show low interest and understanding of students because the instrucional materials used are less attractive. Studying the history of Indonesian independence is very important to foster nationalism and fondess for the nation of Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an E-Encyclopedia to facilitate understanding and attract students' attention. The purpose of this development research is to look at the making of instructional materials, to determine the of validity, and effectiveness of the development E-Encyclopedia as social studies instructional materials for Indonesian independence preparation for fifth grade elementary school students. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which goes through five stages namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were fifth grade students at SDN Cikini 01 Pagi, totaling 27 students. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. The development of these instructional materials went through a validation stage with three experts, namely material expert, media expert, and linguists expert. The results are 92% from material expert, 95% from linguists expert and 95% from media expert. The product trial phase is one to one, small group, and field trials. The results of the research on the development of the E-Encyclopedia as social studies instructional materials in the teacher trial were 100% and the average student was 92% in the "Very Eligible" category. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the E-Encyclopedia as a instructional materials is that the average post-test score is greater than the pre-test score (78.1 > 36.7). Based on the results of the t test, tcount (25) > ttable (2.05), then the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, the E-Encyclopedia as social studies instructional materials is effectively used in learning.
