Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti ujaran kebencian pada kolom komentar akun Instagram @playitsafebabyreborn. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang bentuk pengungkapan dan makna pengucapan ujaran kebencian pada unggahan akun Instagram @playitsafebabyreborn. Peneltian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah ujaran kebencian yang terdapat pada kolom komentar unggahan akun Instagram @playitsafebabyreborn dalam rentang bulan Mei Juli 2022. Tahapan penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah (1) mencari unggahan yang mengandung ujaran kebencian, (2) membaca dan melakukan pengamatan terhadap unggahan dan komentar, (3) melakukan tangkapan layar terhadap unggahan atau komentar yang mengandung ujaran kebencian, (4) membuat lembar data dengan mengutip ujaran kebencian tersebut. Hasil temuan yang didapat pada penelitian ini adalah 30 data yang diperoleh dari kolom komentar akun Instagram @playitsafebabyreborn yang berpotensi mengandung ujaran kebencian. Dari 30 data yang ditemukan, memiliki variasi berdasarkan bentuk ujaran kebencian yaitu penghinaan ringan, fitnah, dan pencemaran nama baik. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah ujaran kebencian dapat diungkapkan dalam beberapa bentuk seperti penghinaan ringan, fitnah, dan pencemaran nama baik, terdapat 28 data kategori penghinaan ringan, 2 data kategori fitnah, dan 2 data kategori pencemaran nama baik; pengucapan ujaran kebencian pada komentar di akun Instagram @playitsafebabyreborn memiliki makna konotasi yang negatif, karena ujaran mengandung kata makian atau tuduhan yang tidak dapat dibuktikan kebenarannya. Saran untuk penelitian berikutnya, hendaknya peneliti lebih mengembangkan ruang lingkup penelitian dengan meninjau dari sudut pandang sosiologi, bukan hanya linguistik forensik saja karena peristiwa bahasa yang terjadi juga tegantung dari lingkungan sosialnya, lebih difokuskan pada satu pokok permasalahan saja, serta cara analisis diperluas lagi. This study aims to examine hate speech in the comments column of the Instagram account @playitsafebabyreborn. This study examines the forms of disclosure and the meaning of uttering hate speech in uploads to the Instagram account @playitsafebabyreborn. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research subject was hate speech contained in the comments column uploaded to the Instagram account @playitsafebabyreborn in the period from May to July 2022. The research stages in this study were (1) looking for uploads containing hate speech, (2) reading and observing uploads and comments, (3) take screenshots of uploads or comments that contain hate speech, (4) create a data sheet by quoting the hate speech. The findings obtained in this study are 30 data obtained from the comments column of the Instagram account @playitsafebabyreborn which have the potential to contain hate speech. Of the 30 data found, there are variations based on the form of hate speech, namely mild insults, slander, and defamation. The conclusion in this study is that hate speech can be expressed in several forms such as mild insults, slander, and defamation. There are 28 data in the category of mild insults, 2 data in the category of slander, and 2 data in the category of defamation; the utterance of hate speech in comments on the Instagram account @playitsafebabyreborn has a negative connotation, because the utterance contains swear words or accusations that cannot be proven true. Suggestions for future research, researchers should further develop the scope of research by reviewing it from a sociological point of view, not just forensic linguistics because the language events that occur also depend on the social environment, are more focused on one subject matter only, and the method of analysis is expanded further.
