Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis dan fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam dialog film Ali & Ratu-Ratu Queens dari segi tuturan meminta atau memesan, memerintah, nasihat, memohon, dan menyarankan atau menganjurkan. Penelitian ini mengacu pada teori tindak tutur direktif yang dikembangkan oleh John Searle. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data model Miles dan Huberman yang terbagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima jenis tindak tutur direktif dan lima belas fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam dialog film Ali & Ratu-Ratu Queens. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan 125 data tuturan yang mengandung unsur tindak tutur direktif. Tindak tutur direktif meminta/memesan (ordering) ditemukan sebanyak 52 data meliputi fungsi meminta/memesan, mendoa, mengajak, menanyakan, dan menawarkan. Tindak tutur direktif memerintah (commanding) ditemukan sebanyak 50 data meliputi fungsi memerintah, menuntut, mengatur, menginstruksikan, melarang, dan menyilakan. Tindak tutur direktif nasihat (advising) sebanyak 11 data meliputi fungsi menasihati dan mengingatkan. Tindak tutur direktif permohonan (requesting) sebanyak 8 data dengan fungsi memohon. Tindak tutur direktif menyarankan/menganjurkan (recommending) sebanyak 4 data dengan fungsi menyarankan/menganjurkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tindak tutur direktif pada dialog film Ali & Ratu-Ratu Queens turut berperan dalam pembentukan unsur-unsur film, yaitu melukiskan karakter tokoh, menghidupkan konflik, dan menyampaikan pesan moral dengan nilai-nilai positif. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe the types and functions of directive speech acts in the dialogues of the film Ali & Ratu-Ratu Queens in terms of the utterances of ordering, commanding, advising, requesting, and recommending. This study refers to the theory of directive speech acts developed by John Searle. The data collection technique was carried out by observing and noting techniques. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model which is divided into three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawing. The results of this study indicate that there are five types of directive speech acts and fifteen functions of directive speech acts in the dialogue of the film Ali & Ratu-Ratu Queens. In this study, 125 utterances were found containing elements of directive speech acts. There were 52 directive speech acts of ordering found in data including the functions of ordering, praying, inviting, asking, and offering. Directive speech acts of commanding found as many as 50 data including functions of commanding, demanding, regulating, instructing, prohibiting, and asking permission. There are 11 directive speech acts of advising which include the functions of advising and reminding. There are 8 data directive speech acts of requesting with the function of requesting. Directive speech acts recommending as many as 4 data with the function of recommending. The results of this study indicate that the use of directive speech acts in the dialogue of the film Ali & Ratu-Ratu Queens plays a role in forming the elements of the film, namely depicting the characters, animating conflicts, and conveying moral messages with positive values.
