Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaknai realitas sosial dalam novel Orang- Orang Proyek karya Ahmad Tohari. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori realisme sosial Georg Lukacs dan teori fakta cerita Robert Stanton. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya empat konsep realisme sosialis yang digagas oleh Georg Lukacs dalam novel. Empat konsep tersebut yaitu realitas objektif, gerak dialektis, refleksi artistik, dan ungkapan kritis emansipatoris. Konsep realitas objektif pada novel dapat ditemukan dalam bentuk korupsi, hegemoni, dan penindasan. Konsep gerak dialektis dapat ditemukan dalam bentuk pertentangan dan pembenaran. Konsep refleksi artistik dapat ditemukan dalam normalisasi tindakan penyimpang dan pembagian kelas. Konsep terakhir, ungkapan kritis emansipatoris dapat ditemukan dalam bentuk perlawanan tokoh Kabul. ***** This study aims to interpret the social reality in Orang-Orang Proyek novel by Ahmad Tohari. The theory used in this research is Georg Lukacs's social realism theory and Robert Stanton's story fact theory. The results of this study indicate that there are four concepts of socialist realism initiated by Georg Lukacs in the novel. The four concepts are objective reality, dialectical movement, artistic reflection, and emancipatory critical expression. The concept of objective reality in the novel can be found in the form of corruption, hegemony and oppression. The concept of dialectical movement can be found in the form of opposition and justification. The concept of artistic reflection can be found in the normalization of deviant acts and class divisions. The last concept, an emancipatory critical expression can be found in the form of the Kabul figure's resistance.
