Abstract

PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI QUIZLET TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KOSAKATA BAHASA ARAB (PENELITIAN EKSPERIMENTAL PADA SISWA KELAS X SMK GARUDA, JAKARTA). Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta 2023. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Garuda Jakarta, pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022, dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Quizlet terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas 10 SMK Garuda Jakarta. Peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen dalam bentuk Posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 10, dan sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 10 Akuntansi dan Pemasaran, yang terdiri dari 19 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 21 siswa di kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes akhir dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 20 soal, dengan teknis analisis data menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Uji-t dilakukan setelah melakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Setelah melakukan Uji Normalitas dengan hasil normal, Uji Homogenitas dengan data homogen, dan uji hipotesis dengan uji-t, maka diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 2,837 sedangkan harga t-tabel pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan derajat kebebasan (n-2) = 38 adalah 1,697. Jadi, nilai t-hitung > t-tabel. Dengan demikian hipotesis (H0) yang menyatakan tidak ada pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Quizlet terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa kelas X SMK Garuda Jakarta ditolak. Sedangkan hipotesis (H1) yang menyatakan ada pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Quizlet terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa kelas 10 SMK Garuda Jakarta diterima. Jadi, penggunaan aplikasi Quizlet dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab dapat mempengaruhi penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab siswa. Oleh karena itu, pengajaran kosakata bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran aplikasi Quizlet lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional. ***** THE EFFECT OF USING QUIZLET APPLICATION ON ARABIC VOCABULARY MASTERY (EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON 10th GRADE STUDENTS OF GARUDA VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, JAKARTA). This research was conducted at the SMK Garuda Jakarta, in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, and the aim of this research is to find out the impact of using the Quizlet application on Arabic vocabulary mastery for 10th-grade students of SMK Garuda Jakarta The researcher uses the experimental method in the form of Posttest-only control design. The population was all 10th grade students and the sample was all 10th grade students of Accounting and Marketing, which consisted of 19 students in the experimental class and 21 students in the control class. Sampling was done by means of random sampling. The instrument used was the final test with a total of 20 questions, with the technical analysis of the data using the t-test at a significant level of α = 0.05. The t-test is performed after performing the normality and homogeneity tests. After doing the Normality Test with normal results, Homogeneity Test with homogeneous data, and hypothesis testing with the t-test, the t-test value obtained is 2.837 while the t-table price is at the significant level α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (n-2) = 38 amounted to 1.697. So, the value of t-count> t-table. Thus the hypothesis (H0) which states there is no effect of using the Quizlet application on Arabic vocabulary mastery for 10th grade students of SMK Garuda Jakarta is rejected. While the hypothesis (H1) which states that there is an effect of using the Quizlet application on the mastery of Arabic vocabulary for 10th grade students of SMK Garuda Jakarta is accepted. So, the use of the Quizlet application in teaching Arabic can influence students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary. Therefore, teaching Arabic vocabulary using the Quizlet application learning media is better than using conventional learning media.
