Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan model pembelajaran teks berita berbasis Sevima Edlink. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada model ADDIE oleh Branch. Model ADDIE terbagi ke dalam lima tahap yaitu analisis (analysis), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, angket analisis situasi dan kebutuhan, analisis kurikulum, dan analisis model pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengembangan model pembelajaran teks berita berbasis Sevima Edlink siswa kelas VIII SMP mendapatkan kritik dan saran dari validasi ahli materi bahwa penggunaan bahasa dapat dikembangkan lebih komunikatif dan interaktif dengan penggunaan sehingga lebih memotivasi dan menarik perhatian penggunanya. Validasi ahli media memberi kritik dan saran bahwa media sudah cukup sesuai, dapat dikembangkan lebih komunikatif sehingga pemahaman terhadap kegiatan belajar dan latihan tidak sulit dipahami. Hasil Instrumen validasi untuk guru bahasa Indonesia, bahwa penggunaan Sevima Edlink dalam kegiatan belajar teks berita sudah sangat baik dan menarik, karena siswa tertarik dengan penggunaan media digital, hanya dengan meng “klik” aplikasi siswa dapat langsung melihat materi, menonton video, atau mengerjakan latihan media digital tersebut. Penilaian tersebut dilihat dari beberapa aspek yaitu Kompetensi Dasar (KD), tujuan pembelajaran, dan materi. Uji coba produk siswa kelas VIII di dua sekolah kota Bekasi dengan jumlah 40 siswa, bahwa 19,8% dari 20 siswa sekolah A dan 19,6% dari 20 siswa sekolah B menjawab sesuai. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran teks berita berbasis Sevima Edlink siswa kelas VIII SMP layak digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran, Teks Berita, Sevima Edlink, ADDIE, Research and Development (R&D). This study aims to discover the development of a learning model for reading news texts in Sevima Edlink. This research uses Research and Development method based on the ADDIE model which has developed by Branch. The ADDIE model is divided into five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected by observation, situation and needs analysis questionnaire, curriculum analysis, and learning model analysis. Data analysis was carried out by quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results obtained from the development of the Sevima Edlink-based news text learning model students of class VIII SMP received criticism and suggestions from material expert validation that the use of language could be developed more communicatively and interactively with use so that it was more motivating and attracted the attention of its users. Validation of media experts gave criticism and suggestions that the media was quite appropriate, could be developed more communicatively so that understanding of learning and training activities was not difficult to understand. The results of the validation instrument for Indonesian language teachers, that the use of Sevima Edlink in news text learning activities is very good and interesting, because students are interested in using digital media, just by "clicking" on the application students can immediately see the material, watch videos, or do exercises. the digital media. The assessment is seen from several aspects, namely Basic Competence, learning objectives, and materials. The product trial of class VIII students in two Bekasi city schools with a total of 40 students showed that 19.8% of 20 students of school A and 19.6% of 20 students of school B answered accordingly. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of a news text learning model based on Sevima Edlink for class VIII junior high school students is worthy to be used in teaching and learning activities.
