Abstract

ABSTRAK Nadhirah Isnaenia. Pengaruh Penerapan Metode STAD-TSTS Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Materi Koloid SMA Kelas XI. Skripsi. Jakarta. Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia. Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Januari 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Metode STAD-TSTS terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 60 Jakarta pada materi koloid. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 60 Jakarta pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2018-2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain True eksperiment dan rancangan pretest – posttest control design. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah 36 peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan 35 peserta didik kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan simple random sampling. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan metode pembelajaran STAD-TSTS sedangkan kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan dengan Metode Diskusi Kelompok. Instrumen hasil belajar berupa tes pilihan ganda. Hasil uji normalitas dengan menggunakan uji Liliefors diperoleh data dari kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan uji homogenitas kedua kelas dengan menggunakan uji Fisher diperoleh data dari kedua kelas bersifat homogen. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan df = 69. Hasil uji t diperoleh thitung = 3,261 sedangkan ttabel = 1,67, sehingga thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif penerapan metode pembelajaran STAD-TSTS terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi koloid. This study propose to know how the effect of applying TAD-TSTS Method to Students Learning Outcomes in Class XI Science of SMAN 60 on Coloid Topic. This research implemented at SMAN 60 in semester 2 of 2018-2019 year school. Quantitative with experiment True and pretest-posttest control design applied as research method. 36 experiment student and 35 control student tested as research sample. Sampling technique in this study using simple random sampling. The experimental class treated with the STAD-TSTS learning method while the control class treated with the Group Discussion Method. Learning outcomes instrument is multiple choice test form. The results of the normality test using Liliefors test obtained data from the two classes with normal distribution. While the homogenity test of the two classes using Fisher test obtained homogeneous data from both classes. Hypothesis testing using t-test at a significance level of 5% and df = 69. T-test results obtained tcount = 3,261 and ttable = 1.67, with the result that tcount> ttable then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, conclusion from result that there is a positive effect on applying STAD-TSTS learning method to student learning outcomes in coloid topic.
