Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang jelas mengenai penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat di SMP Islam PB Sudirman, SMP Muhammadiyah 31 Jakarta, dan MTsN 31 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif studi kasus, dan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab telah dilaksanakan secara bertahap. Perbedaan mencolok yang dirasakan guru bahasa Arab adalah dengan adanya projek pancasila dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan kemandirian siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab, namun pada sisi lain guru dituntut lebih kompeten dan kreaktif dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran agar sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran dan waktu yang sempit dikarenakan projek pancasila. Selain itu perangkat pembelajaran dengan format yang baru dianggap lebih ringkas dan efektif. Tujuan pembelajaran bahasa Arab menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar diharapkan agar peserta didik dapat berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Arab dengan kaidah yang baik dan benar. Faktor pendukung dalam penerapan Kurilum Merdeka Belajar adalah platform kurikulum yang telah disediakan pemerintah serta peran orang tua dan peserta didik dengan memberikan dukungan dan membantu mengawasi anak mempersiapkan pembelajaran. Salah satu faktor penghambat adalah pelatihan penerapan kurikulum merdeka masih sangat sedikit yang diikuti oleh guru bahasa Arab. This research aims to obtain a clear understanding of the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in Arabic language learning, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors at PB Sudirman Islamic Junior High School, Muhammadiyah 31 Junior High School in Jakarta, and MTsN 31 Jakarta. This research uses the qualitative case study descriptive research method, and data is collected through interviews and documentation of activities. The research results show that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in Arabic language learning has been carried out gradually. A striking difference experienced by the Arabic language teachers is that the existence of the Pancasila project can increase the students' activity and independence in Arabic language learning activities, but on the other hand, teachers are required to be more competent and creative in designing learning activities to match learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the learning time becomes shorter due to the Pancasila project. In addition, new format learning tools are considered more concise and effective. The goal of learning Arabic using the Merdeka curriculum is for students to be able to communicate using Arabic with good and correct grammar. The support factor in implementing the Merdeka curriculum is the Merdeka curriculum platform provided by the government, as well as the role of parents and students in providing support to help supervise the preparation of learning. One of the inhibitions is that training in the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum is still very limited, with only a few Arabic language teachers participating. م Keywords: Learning Arabic, Merdeka Belajar Curriculum, and Case Studies
