Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bermian alat musik pianika melalui metode drill and practice pada siswa kelas V SDN Pisangan Timur 11 Jakarta Timur yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Analisis data diakukan dengan merefleksi kegiatan-kegiatan yang telah dilakukan pada setiap siklus. Pada pra tindakan siswa yang memperoleh nilai ≥73 mencapai 62,96%. Pada siklus I siswa yang memperoleh nilai ≥73 mencapai 77,78%, sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 88,89%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode drill and practice dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bermain alat musik pianika siswa kelas V SDN Pisangan Timur 11 Jakarta Timur. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode drill and practice pada pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya memperoleh presentase hasil pengamatan tindakan aktivitas guru pada siklus I pertemuan ke-2 sebesar 75%. Untuk pemantauan tindakan aktivitas siswa pada pertemuan ke-2 sebesar 77,5%. Pada siklus II pemantauan tindakan aktivitas guru mendapatkan hasil presentase pertemuan ke-2 sebesar 87,5% dan untuk tindakan aktivitas siswa pada pertemuan ke-2 sebesar 90%. Implikasi dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah keterampilan bermain alat musik pianika siswa kelas V SDN Pisangan Timur 11 Jakarta Timur dapat meningkat dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya dengan menerapkan metode drill and practice. This study aims to improve the skills in playing pianika musical instruments through the drill and practice method for grade V students of SDN Pisangan Timur 11 East Jakarta, totaling 27 students. Based on the results of observations of the learning process by applying the drill and practice method to learning Arts and Crafts, the percentage of observations of teacher activities in the first cycle of the 2nd meeting was 75%. For monitoring student activity actions at the 2nd meeting of 77.5%. In cycle II monitoring of teacher activity actions, the percentage for the 2nd meeting was 87.5% and for student activity actions at the 2nd meeting was 90%. The implication of this classroom action research is that the skills of playing the piano instrument of class V students at SDN Pisangan Timur 11 East Jakarta can improve in learning Arts and Crafts by applying the drill and practice method.
