Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan membangun sistem informasi manajemen peserta didik di lembaga pendidikan Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School Parung Bogor. Lembaga Pendidikan ini didirikan tahun 1998 oleh Sayyiduna Syekh Habib Saggaf bin Mahdi beserta istri Umi Waheeda yang terdiri dari jenis pendidikan formal dengan jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD), Sekolah Dasar (SD), Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dan Sekolah Tinggi. Serta dari jenis pendidikan non formal yaitu Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan (LKP). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan research and development melalui sistem System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model waterfall. Pengembangan ini dilakukan oleh bagian divisi pengembangan di bawah bagian administrasi umum Yayasan yang didasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan dari pengguna yaitu; pengurus sekolah, wali kelas, guru dan orang tua. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen wawancara, kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Dalam pengembangan sistem informasi penelitian ini mengunakan model waterfall dengan tahapan: (1) analisis kebutuhan, (2) desain, (3) implementasi, (4) pengujian model dan (5) pemeliharaan. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa manajemen peserta didik meliputi tahapan pertama: perencanaan peserta didik meliputi: (1) tahap analisis kebutuhan berdasarkan kebutuhan ruang kelas, asrama dan rasio guru; (2) tahap penerimaan; (3) tahap pemetaan berdasarkan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran, membaca kitab kuning dan praktek ibadah; (4) tahap orientasi melalui pengenalan tradisi dan budaya pesantren; (5) tahap penempatan berdasarkan asrama, kelas umum dan kelas diniyyah; (6) tahap administrasi dan pelaporan. Kedua: pembinaan peserta didik meliputi pembinaan: (1) kedisiplinan, (2) kemandirian, (3) akademik dan (4) ekstrakurikuler. Ketiga: pelayanan peserta didik meliputi pelayanan: (1) bimbingan konseling, (2) asrama, (3) kesehatan, (4) koperasi, (5) kemananan, (6) tahfidz dan (7) logistik. Hasil dari pengembangan sistem ini adalah baik setelah melalui uji dari aspek performance efficiency, usability, security, reliability dan portability. The purpose of this study was to analyze and build a student management information system at the Al Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School Parung Bogor. This educational institution consists of formal education such as Early Childhood Education (PAUD), Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), Senior High School (SMA) and Higher Education as well as non-formal education, namely the Course and Training Institute (LKP). This research uses a research and development approach through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a waterfall model. This development is carried out by the development division under the general administration section of the foundation which is based on the results of the users’ needs analysis namely; school administrators, teachers and parents. Data collection using interview instruments, questionnaires, observations, and documentation with data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The development of this research information system uses a waterfall model with stages: (1) needs analysis, (2) design, (3) implementation, (4) model testing and (5) maintenance. The findings of the study showed that student management includes the first stage: student planning includes: (1) the needs analysis stage based on the needs of classrooms, dormitories and teacher ratios; (2) the acceptance stage; (3) the mapping stage based on the ability to read the Quran, read the Yellow Book and practice worship; (4) the orientation stage through the introduction of bording school traditions and culture; (5) placement stages based on dormitories, public classes and diniyyah classes; (6) administration and reporting stages. Second: student coaching includes: (1) discipline, (2) independence, (3) academic and (4) extracurricular. Third: student services include: (1) counseling guidance, (2) dormitories, (3) health, (4) cooperatives, (5) libraries, (6) security, (7) tahfidz and (8) logistics. The result of developing this system is good after going through tests from the aspects of performance efficiency, usability, security, reliability and portability.
