Abstract

Banyaknya perilaku berpacaran remaja di lingkungan sekolah dan prestasi belajar IPS yang relatif rendah menjadi alasan mengapa masalah ini diteliti. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh perilaku berpacaran remaja terhadap prestasi belajar IPS di SMP Negeri 222 Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 222 Jakarta Timur dari Februari hingga Juli 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, dan studi literatur. Uji kualitas data menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dan berjumlah 32 responden. Pengolahan data menggunakan koefisien korelasi Pearson Product Moment, analisis regresi linear sederhana, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi (R2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku berpacaran remaja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar IPS. Persamaan regresi sebesar y=122,640-0,562x. Hasil t hitung -7,222 > t tabel -2,042. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,797 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 63,5% untuk menjelaskan pengaruh terhadap variabel dependen. The large number of teenager’s dating behaviors in the school environment and the relatively low social studies learning achievement are the reason why this problem is being researched. The aim of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of teenager’s dating behavior on social studies learning achievement at SMP Negeri 222 Jakarta. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 222 East Jakarta from February to July 2023. The research method used is quantitative. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. Test the quality of the data using validity and reliability tests. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique and amounted to 32 respondents. Data processing uses Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient, simple linear regression analysis, t test, and coefficient of determination (R^2). The results of the study showed that the teenager’s dating behaviors had a negative and significant effect on social studies achievement. The regression equation is y=122,640-0,562x. With the result t count -7.222 > t table -2.042. The coefficient correlation value of -0.797 and coefficient of determination value 63.5% to explain the effect on the dependent variable.
