Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Geografi materi kebencanaan Kelas XI SMAN 61 Jakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS yang ada di SMAN 61 Jakarta yang berjumlah dua kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Total Sampling karena kelas XI IPS di SMAN 61 hanya terdapat dua kelas yaitu XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 2. Kelas yang menjadi kelas eksperimen adalah kelas XI IPS 1 sedangkan kelas kontrol adalah kelas XI IPS 2. Data diperoleh dari hasil Pre Test dan Post Test diawal dan diakhir penelitian. Dalam pengujian data digunakan uji instrumen, uji persyaratan data dan uji analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan pada instrumen, didapatkan bahwa instrumen yang ada valid dan reliabel. Selain itu data yang didapatkan juga berdistribusi secara normal dan bersifat homogen. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan model Problem Based Learning pada pembelajaran Geografi materi kebencanaan kelas XI SMAN 61 Jakarta. Berdasarkan hasil uji t didapat t hitung sebesar 3,96 dengan t tabel 1,67 sehingga t hitung > t tabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Selain itu peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan dalam berpikir kritis seperti pengidentifikasian masalah serta mencari solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Sehingga penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Geografi materi kebencanaan kelas XI di SMAN 61 Jakarta. This study aims to determine the application of Problem Based Learning model to improve students' learning outcomes in Geography learning disaster material Class XI SMAN 61 Jakarta. This research is included in quasi-experimental research. The population in this study was the XI social studies class at SMAN 61 Jakarta which amounted to two classes. The sampling technique used was Total Sampling because class XI IPS at SMAN 61 there are only two classes, namely XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2. The class that became the experimental class was class XI IPS 1 while the control class was class XI IPS 2. Data obtained from the results of the Pre Test and Post Test at the beginning and at the end of the study. In testing the data used instrument test, data requirements test and data analysis test. Based on the results of testing carried out on the instrument, it is found that the existing instruments are valid and reliable. In addition, the data obtained is also normally distributed and homogeneous. Based on the results of the calculation, there is an increase in student learning outcomes with the application of the Problem Based Learning model in learning Geography disaster material class XI SMAN 61 Jakarta. Based on the results of the t test obtained t count of 3.96 with t table 1.67 so that t count> t table so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In addition, students also experienced an increase in critical thinking such as identifying problems and finding solutions to these problems. So that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Geography learning material class XI disaster at SMAN 61 Jakarta.
