Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan situasi masing-masing informan sebelum dan sesudah menjadi petugas PPSU Kelurahan Pisangan Baru. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola penyesuaian yang dilakukan oleh para informan sebelum dan sesudah menjadi petugas PPSU Kelurahan Pisangan Baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 5 (lima) orang petugas Penanganan Prasarana dan Sarana Umum (PPSU) Kelurahan Pisangan Baru serta lokasi penelitian dilakukan di zona atau wilayah para informan bertugas dan di kantor Kelurahan Pisangan Baru. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April-Juni 2023 dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi langsung di lapangan, wawancara mendalam kepada informan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah petugas PPSU sebagai salah satu mata pencaharian yang dipilih oleh warga Kelurahan Pisangan Baru sejalan dengan tujuan awal pembentukan petugas PPSU Tingkat Kelurahan oleh Pemprov DKI Jakarta yaitu untuk mengurangi angka pengangguran dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Terlihat adanya perubahan-perubahan situasi dari berbagai aspek kehidupan masing-masing informan sebelum dan sesudah mereka menjadi petugas PPSU Kelurahan Pisangan Baru. Pola penyesuaian yang dilakukan oleh para petugas PPSU Kelurahan Pisangan Baru didasari oleh bagaimana mereka melihat situasi mereka pada suatu waktu tertentu, baik sebelum maupun sesudah menjadi petugas PPSU Kelurahan Pisangan Baru kemudian bertindak sesuai dengan pilihan-pilihan yang dibuat dan dianggap terbaik untuk masing-masing dari mereka. This study aims to describe the differences in the situations of each informant before and after becoming PPSU officers in Pisangan Baru Village. In addition, this study also aims to determine the pattern of adjustments made by informants before and after becoming PPSU officers in Pisangan Baru Village. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of 5 (five) Public Infrastructure and Facilities Management (PPSU) officers for the Pisangan Baru Village and the research location carried out in the zone or area of the informants on duty and at the Pisangan Baru Village office. The research was conducted in April-June 2023 with data collection carried out using direct field observation methods, in-depth interviews with informants, and documentation. The results of this study are PPSU officers as one of the livelihoods chosen by Pisangan Baru Village residents in line with the initial goal of establishing PPSU officers at the Kelurahan Level by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, namely to reduce unemployment and improve the community's economy. It can be seen that there were changes in the situation of various aspects of the life of each informant before and after they became PPSU officers for the Pisangan Baru Village. The pattern of adjustments made by PPSU officers for the Pisangan Baru Village was based on how they saw their situation at a certain time, both before and after becoming PPSU officers for the Pisangan Baru Village and then acted according to the choices they made and considered the best for each of them.
