Abstract

Penelitian skripsi berjudul Pola Kepemimpinan Karismatik Pondok Pesantren Tapak Sunan ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola kepemimpinan secara karismatik yang dimiliki oleh pemimpin Pondok Pesantren dan untuk mengetahui dampak kepemimpinan karismatik pada Pondok Pesantren Tapak Sunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 orang yang terdiri dari 5 orang santri, 1 orang pemimpin formal Pondok Pesantren, 1 orang pemimpin non formal Pondok Pesantren, 1 orang staff atau guru di pondok, 1 orang sejawat dari pendiri Pondok Pesantren Tapak Sunan dan seorang alumni pondok sebagai triangulasi data. Penelitian Ini menggunakan konsep kepemimpinan karismatik sebagai dasar teori. Peneltian ini dimulai pada bulan Juni 2022 hingga Juli 2023 Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada Pesantren, peran seorang pemimpin yang memilki karisma menjadi modal yang cukup besar untuk mengembangkan suatu institusi pendidikan. Pemimpin yang karismatik menjadi daya jual suatu pesantren. Banyak orang tua memutuskan untuk menyerahkan pendidikan anak-anaknya ke pesantren terutama di dasarkan atas ketokohan pemimpinnya. Dalam menjalankan sistem pembelajaran pun karisma pemimpin juga menjadi penting. Para guru dan murid di Pondok Pesantren Tapak Sunan mengikuti aturan yang ada bukan karena adanya aturan tersebut, melainkan didasarkan pada rasa segan dan malu kepada pemimpin yang telah memberi contoh bagaimana berperilaku. Ketaatan terhadap program pesantren pun didasarkan atas penghormatan terhadap pemimpin yang memimpin Pondok Pesantren. ********** This thesis research entitled The Charismatic Leadership Pattern of Tapak Sunan Islamic Boarding School has the aim of describing the charismatic leadership patterns possessed by Islamic boarding school leaders and to determine the impact of charismatic leadership on Tapak Sunan Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 10 people consisting of 5 students, 2 leaders of the Islamic boarding school, 1 staff or teacher at the Islamic boarding school, 1 colleague of the founder of the Tapak Sunan Islamic boarding school and an alumni of the Islamic boarding school as data triangulation. This research uses the concept of charismatic leadership as a theoretical basis. This research starts in June 2022 until July 2023 The results of this study indicate that in Islamic boarding schools, the role of a leader who has charisma is a large enough capital to develop an educational institution. Charismatic leaders are the selling point of a pesantren. Many parents decide to hand over their children's education to Islamic boarding schools, especially based on the character of their leaders. In carrying out the learning system, the charisma of the leader is also important. The teachers and students at the Tapak Sunan Islamic Boarding School follow the existing rules not because of these rules, but because they feel ashamed and ashamed of the leader who has set an example of how to behave. Obedience to the pesantren program is also based on respect for the leaders who lead the Islamic boarding schools.
