Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1). Hubungan kecepatan dengan kemampuan sidestep atlet rugby DKI Jakarta. (2). Hubungan Kelincahan dengan kemampuan sidestep atlet rugby DKI Jakarta. (3). Hubungan kecepatan dan kelincahan secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan sidestep atlet rugby DKI Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan teknik studi korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet Rugby DKI Jakarta dengan jumlah 24 atlet. Jumlah sampel sebayak 24 atlet, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik Sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: (1). Terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara kecepatan dengan hasil kemampuan Sidestep, dengan persamaan garis linier Ŷ = 2,91 + 1,55 X1, korelasi ry1 = 0,97 dan koefisien determinasi (ry1²) =0,95 yang berarti variabel kecepatan memberikan sumbangan terhadap hasil kemampuan sidestep sebesar 95,3 % (2). Terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara kelincahan dengan hasil kemampuan sidestep, dengan persamaan garis linier Ŷ = 4,36 + 0,76 X2. Koefisien korelasi (ry2) = 0,97 dan koefisien determinasi (ry2²) = 0,94 yang berarti variabel kelincahan hanya memberikan sumbangan dengan hasil kemampuan side step sebesar 94,9%. (3). Terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara kecepatan dan kelincahan dengan hasil kemampuan sidestep secara bersama-sama, dengan persamaan garis linier Ŷ= 4,02 + 0,36 X1 + 0,58 X2. koefisien korelasi Ry1-2 = 0,0019 dan koefisien determinasi (Ry1-2)² = 0,85 yang berarti variabel kecepatan dan kelincahan memberikan sumbangan dengan hasil kemampuan sidestep sebesar 85,8% *ABSTRACT* This study aims to determine: (1). Correlation between speed and sidestep ability of DKI Jakarta rugby athletes. (2). Relationship between agility and sidestep ability of DKI Jakarta rugby athletes. (3). The relationship between speed and agility together with the sidestep ability of DKI Jakarta rugby athletes. The method used in this study is a survey method with correlational study techniques. The population in this study were DKI Jakarta Rugby athletes with a total of 24 athletes. The number of samples is as much as 24 athletes, the samples are determined by saturated sampling technique. The results of the study concluded that: (1). There is a significant relationship between speed and Sidestep ability results, with the linear line equation Ŷ = 2.91 + 1.55 X1, the correlation ry1 = 0.97 and the coefficient of determination (ry1²) = 0.95 which means that the speed variable contributes to the results sidestep ability of 95.3% (2). There is a significant relationship between agility and sidestep ability results, with the linear line equation Ŷ = 4.36 + 0.76 X2. The correlation coefficient (ry2) = 0.97 and the coefficient of determination (ry2²) = 0.94 which means that the agility variable only contributes to the side step capability of 94.9%. (3). There is a significant relationship between speed and agility and sidestep capability results together, with the linear line equation Ŷ= 4.02 + 0.36 X1 + 0.58 X2. the correlation coefficient Ry1-2 = 0.0019 and the coefficient of determination (Ry1-2)² = 0.85 which means that the speed and agility variables contribute to the sidestep capability of 85.8%
