Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) Mengetahui faktor penyebab mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta sering mengalami quarter life crisis, (2) Mendeskripsikan cara mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta dalam mengatasi quarter life crisis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdapat 15 orang mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Angkatan 2019. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Mahasiswa tingkat akhir FIS sulit membuat keputusan terkait masa depan, merasa belum dewasa, merasa salah masuk jurusan, khawatir dengan pekerjaan dan finansial di masa depan, tekanan dari lingkungan dan diri sendiri, sering membandingkan diri. (2) Cara mengatasi quarter life crisis mahasiswa FIS mengubah khawatir dan bingung menjadi tindakan, menemukan support system, bercerita pada orang terdekat atau konsultasi dengan ahli, meningkatkan religiusitas. This research aims to: (1) Knowing the factors that cause final year students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta to experience quarter life crisis, (2) Describing how final year students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta overcome quarter life crisis. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The subjects in this study were 15 final year students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Class of 2019. The results of this study indicate that: (1) FIS final year students find it difficult to make decisions related to the future, feel immature, feel they have entered the wrong major, worry about future work and finances, pressure from the environment and themselves, often compare themselves. (2) How to overcome quarter life crisis FIS students turn worry and confusion into action, find a support system, tell the closest person or consult with experts, increase religiosity.
