Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat literasi digital mahasiswa FIS UNJ tentang disinformasi bakal calon presiden jelang pilpres 2024. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta selama tiga bulan dari Februari sampai April 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2020, 2021, dan 2022 yang berjumlah 2.464 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan subjek menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 responden yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkategorisasikan hasil penelitian menggunakan skoring dan dihitung rata-rata dari setiap soal, kemudian diklasifikasikan menggunakan garis kontinum. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: Tingkat literasi digital mahasiswa FIS UNJ tentang disinformasi tentang bakal calon presiden jelang pilpres 2024 berada pada tingkat tinggi dengan perolehan skor sebesar 13.370, yang menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa FIS UNJ memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam indikator use skills dengan perolehan skor sebesar 1.988, critical understanding dengan perolehan skor 8.074, dan communicative abilities dengan perolehan skor sebesar 3.308. Dengan tingkat literasi digital yang tinggi ini, mahasiswa FIS UNJ memiliki kemampuan teknis yang baik dalam menggunakan teknologi digital dan mencari informasi terkait bakal calon presiden, mampu memahami dan menganalisis informasi terkait bakal calon presiden dengan kritis, serta memiliki kemampuan sosial yang kuat dalam berkomunikasi melalui media digital. Kata Kunci: Literasi Digital, Disinformasi, Calon Presiden Abstract This study aims to describe the digital literacy level of FIS UNJ students regarding the disinformation of presidential candidates ahead of the 2024 presidential election. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University for three months from February to April 2023. The research method used was descriptive with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature study. The population in this study were active students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University Classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022, totaling 2,464 students. Subject collection technique using purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 96 respondents who were determined using the slovin formula. Data analysis techniques were carried out by categorizing research results using scoring and calculating the average of each question, then classifying using a continuum line. The results of the study concluded that: The digital literacy level of FIS UNJ students regarding disinformation about presidential candidates ahead of the 2024 presidential election is at a high level with a score of 13.370, which shows that FIS UNJ students have good abilities in the use skills indicator with a score of 1.988, critical understanding with an acquisition score of 8.074, and communicative abilities with an acquisition score of 3.308. With this high level of digital literacy, FIS UNJ students have good technical abilities in using technology digitally and search for information related to presidential candidates, able to critically understand and analyze information related to presidential candidates, and have strong social skills in communicating through digital media.
