Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai penggunaan anonymous NGL link di Instagram pada self disclosure mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2019-2020. Penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta selama dua bulan dari Juni sampai dengan Juli 2023. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner (angket) dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2019-2020 menggunakan anonymous NGL link di Instagram sebagai tempat untuk melakukan pengungkapan diri (self disclosure) terhadap orang lain dengan tujuan untuk mencapai hubungan yang akrab tanpa takut akan ketidaksetujuan atau sanksi oleh orang lain. Adapun faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2019-2020 melakukan self disclosure pada anonymous NGL link di Instagram yaitu faktor budaya, gender, besar kelompok, perasaan menyukai atau mempercayai, kepribadian dan usia. Kata Kunci : anonymous NGL, pengungkapan diri, mahasiswa ************ This study aims to describe the use of anonymous NGL links on Instagram in self�disclosure of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, Class of 2019-2020. The research was conducted at Jakarta State University for two months from June to July 2023. The research method used was descriptive with a quantitative approach, using data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out by descriptive analysis. The results of the study concluded that students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University Class of 2019-2020 use anonymous NGL links on Instagram as a place for self-disclosure to others with the aim of achieving close relationships without fear of disapproval or sanctions by others . The factors that cause students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University Class of 2019-2020 to conduct self-disclosure on anonymous NGL links on Instagram, namely cultural factors, gender, group size, feelings of liking or trust, personality and age.
