Abstract

ABSTRAK Hasil dari pendidikan yang bermutu salah satunya dapat dilihat dari output prestasi yang telah diraih oleh peserta didik, baik dalam prestasi bidang akademik maupun non akademik. Salah satu parameter dari sekolah yang bermutu adalah bagaimana sekolah mampu mengelola program unggulan yang dimilikinya dalam fungsi manajemen mulai proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi terhadap program unggulan sekolah yang akhirnya menjadi branding bagi sekolah sehingga sekolah dapat dipercaya oleh masyarakat dalam menitipkan putra putri mereka. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Islam Terpadu (SMAIT) Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi yang menerapkan program unggulan sekolah dalam simpul Akhlak, Al Quran, Akademik dan Bahasa (A3B), Dalam program unggulan akhlak melaksanakan program Bina Pribadi Islami (BPI), program unggulan tahsin dan tahfizh Al Quran, program unggulan akademik dalam studi lanjut serta program unggulan bahasa dalam program TOEFL. Metode penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan cara observasi, wawancara dengan key informan yaitu kepala sekolah dan penanggungjawab program unggulan A3B serta informan pendukung dengan peserta didik dan orang tua, selanjutnya melakukan studi dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh direduksi lalu disajikan dalam bentuk hasil dan pembahasan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dimulai dari perencanaan program unggulan berdasarkan visi sekolah, pada pengorganisasian adanya tanggungjawab dan garis koordinasi antara penanggungjawab program unggulan A3B dengan kepala sekolah. Pada pelaksanaan sesuai dengan apa yang sudah direncanakan dan pada tahap evaluasi dilalukan secara berkala oleh penanggungjawab program unggulan A3B. Implikasi dengan adanya manajemen terhadap program unggulan di SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad maka output peserta didik berprestasi dan tingginya tingkat kepercayaan stakeholder orang tua pada SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi yang terlihat pada suksesnya kegiatan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB). Kata kunci: manajemen, program unggulan, sekolah bermutu ABSTRACT One of the results of quality education can be seen from the output achievements that have been achieved by students, both in academic and non-academic achievements. One of the parameters of a quality school is how the school can manage its flagship program in the management function starting from the process of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the school's flagship program which eventually becomes branding for the school so that schools can be trusted by the community in entrusting their sons and daughters. This research was conducted at Thariq Bin Ziyad Integrated Islamic High School (SMAIT) Bekasi, which implements the school's flagship program in the Noble of Morals, Al Quran, Academics and Language (A3B), in the moral excellence program implementing the Islamic Personal Development program (BPI), the tahsin and tahfizh Al-Quran flagship programs, academic excellence programs in advanced studies, and language excellence programs in the TOEFL program. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods by way of observation, interviews with key informants, namely the principal and person in charge of the A3B flagship program, as well as informants supporting students and parents, and then conducting a documentation study. The data that has been obtained is reduced and then presented in the form of results and discussion. The results of this study start with planning the flagship program based on the school's vision and organizing the existence of responsibilities and lines of coordination between the person in charge of the A3B flagship program and the school principal. The implementation is in accordance with what has been planned, and at the evaluation stage, it is carried out regularly by the person in charge of the A3B flagship program. The implication of the management of superior programs at SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad is that the output of high-achieving students and the high level of parental stakeholder trust in SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi can be seen in the success of the New Student Admissions (PPDB) activities.
