Abstract

Dian Febriana, Sejarah Pembangunan Jalur Kereta Api Lintas Purwosari-Wonogiri-Baturetno Tahun 1920-1923. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi latar belakang dibangunnya dan proses pembangunan jalur kereta api lintas Purwosari-Wonogiri-Baturetno Tahun 1920-1923. Menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah atau historis dengan pendekatan deskriptif naratif dengan empat tahapan atau Langkah yakni heuristik atau pengumpulan sumber, verifikasi atau kritik sumber, interpretasi yaitu menyusun fakta yang telah diperoleh, dan historiografi adalah penulisan sejarah. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini di dapat dari Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia, Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegara, buku, artikel, thesis dan jurnal serta web resmi KITLV Universitas Leiden yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa jalur kereta Api Purwosari-Wonogiri-Baturetno dibangun oleh perusahaan swasta Belanda yaitu NISM dan merupakan jalur kereta api percabangan dari jalur kereta api dari Solo. Jalur kereta api ini masuk dalam wilayah vorstenlanden Mangkunegaran. Faktor pendukung dibangunnya adalah untuk mengangkut komoditi ke pelabuhan danmengangkut gamping untuk keperluan industri Pabrik Gula. Faktor lain adalah meningkatnya hasil komoditi dan membutuhkan alat angkut yang memadai agar tetap terjaga kualitasnya dan cepat sampai pelabuhan. Namun dibalik itu terdapat faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya dana dalam pembangunan dan kondisi alam wilayah tersebut. Thesis.Jakarta: Historical Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, 2023.This study aims to reconstruct the background of the construction and construction process of the Purwosari-Wonogiri-Baturetno cross railway line in 1920-1923. Using historical or historical research methods with a narrative descriptive approach with four stages or steps, namely heuristics or source collection, verification or criticism of sources, interpretation, namely compiling facts that have been obtained, and historiography is historical writing. Data collection in this study was obtained from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia, Rekso Pustoko Mangkunegara, books, articles, theses and journals as well as the official website of KITLV Leiden University related to the research topic. The results of the research that has been carried out are known that the Purwosari�Wonogiri-Baturetno railway line was built by a Dutch private company, NISM and is a branch railway line from the railway line from Solo. This railway line is included in the vorstenlanden Mangkunegaran region. The supporting factor for its construction was to transport commodities to the port and transport limestone for the industrial use of the Sugar Factory. Another factor is the increase in commodity yields and requires adequate means of transportation to maintain quality and quickly reach the port. But behind that there are inhibiting factors such as lack of funds in development and the natural conditions of the region.
