Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to develop an electrostatics practice device for learning fundamental physics in senior high schools. The devices that were developed to demonstrate a phenomenon as a concrete example of learning electrostatics in class. The research method used is the ADDIE research model development (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The feasibility test for teaching aids is done by validating the tool to media experts, material experts, learning experts, testing students and field testing using t-test. The results of the feasibility test props by the validator for media experts, material experts, learning experts with an average of 96.00%, physics teachers get an average yield of 97.32%, the average score of the results of the validation of media experts 97.08%, material experts 99.31%, for test results to teachers and students with an average score for teachers 95.57%, students 86.53% in the first test and 89.75% in the second test, the effectiveness test stage for teaching aids based on miniature lightning was carried out in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 involving two classes XII namely the experimental class and the control class, by using t-test data analysis with df 66 and a significance level of 0.05, the t-test value is greater than the t-table (t count 2.81971> t table 1.66827), so it can be interpreted that the use of miniatiur lightning-based teaching aids has a significant effect on the learning of electrostatic in high school.
