Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti sejauh mana penerapan permainan olahraga tradisional sunda dapat menumbuhkan nilai-nilai kejujuran pada anak. Kegiatan olahraga tradisional sunda yang dibuat dalam bentuk permainan terhadap penumbuhan nilai-nilai kejujuran pada anak dan menguji penerapan permainan olahraga tradisional sunda terhadap nilai-nilai kejujuran pada anak. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pre eksperimental one shot case studi. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu siswa siswi SDN Klender 04 Pagi dan penelitian dilakukan sebanyak delapan kali pertemuan. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta menggunakan trianggulasih data sumber, teknik dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan permainan olahraga tradisional sunda kepada anak sekolah dasar cocok untuk pembentukan dan menumbuhkan nilai-nilai kejujuran pada anak. Kegiatan permainan yang dilakukan di luar kelas atau lapangan sehingga dapat mendorong peserta didik semakin memahami dan mengenal nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalam kejujuran. Setelah melakukan kegiatan penerapan olahraga tradisional sunda sesuai instrumen penelitian maka nilai-nilai kejujuran dapat tumbuh pada diri anak. Kata Kunci: Olahraga tradisional sunda, nilai-nilai kejujuran *** This study aims to examine the extent to which the application of traditional Sundanese sports games can foster the values of honesty in children. Sundanese traditional sports activities are made in the form of a game on the cultivation of honest values in children and tests the application of Sundanese traditional sports games to honest values in children. The approach and type of this research is qualitative using the pre-experimental one shot case study method. The subjects of this study were students of SDN Klender 04 Pagi and the research was conducted in eight meetings. Data collection procedures using observation techniques, interviews and documentation as well as using triangulation of data sources, techniques and time. The results of the study show that the application of traditional Sundanese sports games to elementary school children is suitable for forming and cultivating the values of honesty in children. Game activities carried out outside the classroom or in the field so as to encourage students to understand and recognize the values contained in honesty. After carrying out the activities of implementing traditional Sundanese sports according to the research instrument, the values of honesty can grow in children.
