Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mendapatkan gambaran terkait manajemen, digitalisasi, dan kendala dalam pelaksanaan pengelolaan bahan pustaka berbasis digital di SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian Tenaga Pustakawan, Kepala Perpustakaan, Kepala Sekolah, dan Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bid. SarPrasHum. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Manajemen bahan pustaka berbasis digital di SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu: Planning (Perencanaan), Organizing (pengorganisasian), Commanding (pengarahan), Coordinating, (pengkoordinasian), Controlling (pengawasan) setiap kegiatan manajemen yang dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan beberapa pihak. (2) Sebelum dilakukan digitalisasi bahan pustaka perlu dilakukan beberapa tahapan pengelolaan terlebih dahulu yaitu bahan pustaka perlu di inventarisasi, lalu diklasifikasikan, hingga katagolisasi. Setelah beberapa rangkaian tersebut bahan pustaka dapat dilakukan digitalisasi. Dalam melaksanakan pengelolaan berbasis digital dengan SliMS terdapat beberapa tahapan yaitu scanning bahan pustaka, pengeditan bahan pustaka, hingga publikasi bahan pustaka kedalam sistem yang digunakan yaitu SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System). (3) Kendala dalam pengelolaan bahan pustaka berbasis digital di SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta, meliputi Server SliMS (Senayan Library Management System) yang dimatikan oleh pusat IT, aplikasi SliMS (Senayan Library Management System) sering terjadinya error, Tenaga Pustakawan yang tidak hanya dipekerjakan di satu tempat, dan Keterbatasan jumlah e-book yang dimiliki perpustakaan sekolah. ***** This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta which aims to describe and get an overview regarding management, digitization, and constraints in implementing digital-based library material management at SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation studies. Informants in the study of Librarians, Head of Libraries, Principals, and Deputy Principals of the Bid School. SarPrasHum. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Management of digital-based library materials at SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta is carried out through several stages, namely: Planning, Organizing, Commanding, Coordinating, Controlling. every management activity carried out by involving several parties. (2) Prior to digitizing library materials, it is necessary to carry out several stages of management first, namely library materials need to be inventoried, then classified, to categorization. After several series of library materials can be digitized. In carrying out digital-based management with SliMS there are several stages, namely scanning library materials, editing library materials, to publishing library materials into the system used, namely SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System). (3) Obstacles in managing digital-based library materials at SMA Negeri 57 Jakarta, including the SliMS (Senayan Library Management System) server which is turned off by the IT center, the SliMS (Senayan Library Management System) application often has errors, librarians who do not only employed in one place, and the limited number of e-books owned by the school library.
