Kata Kunci : Persepsi guru, dekadensi etika ABSTRAC Zila Finola Puspita, Teacher Perceptions of Student Ethical Decadence (Case Study of Students at Diponegoro 1 Middle School After the Covid-19 Pandemic), Thesis, Jakarta: Social Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University, 2023. This study aims to describe the Decadence of Learners after the implementation of Distance Learning (PJJ) due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this research was conducted at Diponegoro 1 Middle School which is located on Jl. Sunan Giri No. 5, RT. 8/RW. 15, Rawamangun, Kec. Pulo Gadung, City of East Jakarta, Special Capital Region of Jakarta 13220. The research method used was descriptive with the research subject being the Diponegoro 1 Middle School Teacher. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and literature studies. The results showed that the teacher's perception of ethical decadence was high, this happened due to 3 factors, first, namely the limitations of teachers providing learning when using online media so that they only conveyed core material and rarely gave advice regarding ethics, second, the environment of students also influenced habits or the way they speak coupled with the lack of control from parents who have other activities such as work, third, namely the existence of social media which is always accessed by students without any supervision which makes ethical decadence occur. Keywords: Teacher perceptions, ethical decadence
