Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan kompetensi tenaga kerja quantity surveyor pada bidang konstruksi gedung untuk menghindari atau mengurangi potensi terjadinya permasalahan pada pelaksanaan konstruksi. Penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Februari sampai bulan Agustus 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan ialah dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada tenaga kerja quantity surveyor yang bekerja di bidang konstruksi gedung dengan kualifikasi yaitu bekerja pada afiliasi kontraktor dan memiliki pengalaman minimal 2 tahun. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif deskriptif dimana data yang dihasilkan akan dianalisis menggunakan rumus mean, standar deviasi, skor baku, dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjuk bahwa penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan kompetensi quantity surveyor secara umum. Lalu terdapat 10 butir pernyataan kompetensi quantity surveyor di luar dari fungsi utama quantity surveyor. Selain itu, untuk peringkat teratas kebutuhannya berdasarkan aspek diantaranya yaitu pada keterampilan adalah tenaga kerja quantity surveyor mampu menghitung Bills of Quantity (BoQ) berdasarkan standar SMM, untuk aspek pengetahuan yaitu tenaga kerja quantity surveyor memahami tahapan pekerjaan konstruksi gedung sedangkan untuk aspek sikap yaitu tenaga kerja quantity surveyor mampu bekerja sama dengan orang lain dalam sebuah tim yang memiliki beragam latar belakang dan lingkungan yang inklusif. ***** This study is aims to determine the competency needs of the quantity surveyor workforce in the field of building construction to avoid or reduce the potential for problems in construction implementation. The research was conducted from February to August 2023. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The data collection technique uses by distributing questionnaires to the quantity surveyor workforce who works in the building construction sector with the qualifications of working for a contractor and having at least 2 years experiences. The data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative data analysis where the resulting data will be analyzed using the formula mean, standard deviation, standard score, and percentage. The results of the study are that this research is indicated to determine the competency needs of quantity surveyors in general. Second, there are 10 quantity surveyor competency statement items outside of the quantity surveyor's main function. In addition, for the top ranking of competences based on aspects are for skills aspects, the quantity surveyor workforce is able to calculate Bills of Quantity (BoQ) based on QMS standards, for the knowledge aspect is the quantity surveyor workforce understands the stages of building construction work meanwhile for the attitude aspect is quantity surveyors are able to work with other people in a team that has diverse backgrounds and an inclusive environment.
