Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesenjangan yang terjadi pada kompetensi keahlian Teknik Pemesinan di SMK Al-Khairiyah 2. Untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja penghambat siswa dalam kompetensi keterampilan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di SMK Al-Khairiyah 2. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII Teknik Pemesinan. Analisis data hasil kompetensi dan dilanjutkan dengan hasil persentase akhir dimasukkan kedalam diagram pie chart. Analisis data kualitatif meliputi pengumpulan data, data primer, sekunder, observasi dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan dari analisa kualitatif, ada kesenjangan yang terjadi dikarenakan faktor-faktor internal siswa. Kesenjangan kompetensi diambil berdasarkan data Uji Kompetensi (Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi) LSP P1 Teknik Pemesinan 3 Kluster, yang terjadi dibuktikan dari pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif sebanyak 33% siswa belum mampu mendapatkan kompeten 3 kluster, dirincikan berdasarkan hanya 23% siswa yang mampu kompeten di 2 kluster, 8% siswa mampu kompeten di 1 kluster, dan 3% siswa belum kompeten pada 3 kluster. Hasil tersebut didukung dengan data kualitatif berupa wawancara yaitu siswa belum mampu dalam perencanaan maupun proses pengerjaan. Kesimpulan tersebut terbukti dari hasil yang didapat dari hasil observasi dilakukan bahwa siswa mengalami kendala dikarenakan kurangnya waktu dan persiapan sebelum melakukan uji (Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi) LSP P1. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan kesimpulan data kualitatif deskriptif, maka terdapat kesenjangan kompetensi keterampilan siswa yang terjadi pada Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan. ***** The purpose of this study was to determine the gaps that occur in the competency of Mechanical Engineering expertise at SMK Al-Khairiyah 2. Find out what factors inhibit students in skill competencies. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research site was conducted at SMK Al-Khairiyah 2. The research subjects were class XII students of Mechanical Engineering. Data analysis of competency results and continued with the final percentage results entered into a pie chart diagram. Qualitative data analysis includes data collection, primary data, secondary data, observation and data verification. Based on the results obtained from qualitative analysis, there are gaps that occur due to internal factors of students. The competency gap is taken based on data from the Competency Test (Professional Certification Institute) LSP P1 Machining Engineering 3 Clusters, which occurs as evidenced by the descriptive qualitative approach as many as 33% of students have not been able to get competent 3 clusters, broken down based on only 23% of students who are able to be competent in 2 clusters, 8% of students are able to be competent in 1 cluster, and 3% of students have not been competent in 3 clusters. These results are supported by qualitative data in the form of interviews, namely that students have not been able to plan or process work. This conclusion is evident from the results obtained from the observations made that students experience obstacles due to lack of time and preparation before conducting the LSP P1 (Professional Certification Institute) test. Thus, based on the conclusion of descriptive qualitative data, there is a skills competency gap that occurs in the Machining Engineering Expertise Competency.
