Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kompensasi dengan kinerja guru SMA Swasta di Kecamatan Jatiasih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 156 guru, dengan total sampel sebanyak 61 guru yang tersebar dari 10 Sekolah Menengah Atas Swasta di Kecamatan Jatiasih. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Proportional Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket/kuesioner dengan skala likert. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Uji Korelasi Product Moment dan Uji Tabel t. berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung = 2,607 lebih besar daripada ttabel = 2,001. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi memberikan kontribusi sebesar 10,3 % terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian, dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel kompensasi dengan kinerja guru SMA Swasta di Kecamatan Jatiasih. Artinya, semakin baik pemberian kompensasi kepada guru maka akan semakin baik dan meningkat kinerja guru di sekolah. ***** This study aims to determine the relationship between compensation and the performance of private high school teachers in Jatiasih District. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study were 156 teachers, with a total sample of 61 teachers from 10 private high schools in Jatiasih District. The sampling technique used is Proportional Random Sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the Product Moment Correlation Test and Table t Test. based on the results of the hypothesis test, the value of tcount = 2,607 is greater than ttable = 2,001. This shows that compensation contributes 10,3 % to teacher performance. Thus, from the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the compensation variable and the performance of private high school teachers in Jatiasih District. That is, the better the compensation given to teachers, the better and increase the performance of teachers in schools.
