Abstract

Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan mengenai publikasi kegiatan kemahasiswaan di lingkungan UNJ. Permasalahan yang didapati antara lain, Ormawa UNJ kesulitan dalam memperoleh peserta kegiatan, perlunya evaluasi media publikasi yang sudah digunakan dan kebutuhan akan sistem informasi berbasis web terpusat untuk publikasi kegiatan kemahasiswaan di UNJ. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Portal Kegiatan Kemahasiswaan UNJ berbasis Web dengan menggunakan metode Throwaway Prototyping untuk dapat membantu Ormawa dan Kantor WR III UNJ dalam mempublikasikan kegiatan kemahasiswaan mulai dari tingkat program studi hingga tingkat umum. Pengembangan sistem ini dilakukan mulai dari tahap outline requirements untuk mengumpulkan spesifikasi umum sistem yang akan dibangun kepada pihak Kantor WR III, develop prototype untuk menggambarkan produk asli yang akan dikembangkan berdasarkan spesifikasi umum menggunakan Figma, evaluate prototype untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian prototype dengan spesifikasi umum, specify system untuk menghasilkan spesifikasi final sistem yang akan dikembangkan, develop software untuk mengembangkan produk akhir menggunakan CMS WordPress sesuai dengan spesifikasi final, validate system untuk menguji dan memvalidasi sistem sesuai dengan spesifikasi final dari aspek functional suitability menggunakan Black Box Testing dan usability menggunakan Think Aloud, hingga delivered software system untuk menyerahkan sistem kepada Kantor WR III UNJ. Sistem Informasi Portal Kegiatan Kemahasiswaan UNJ dinyatakan baik dalam aspek functional suitability berdasarkan hasil Black Box Testing dengan nilai 1 menggunakan matriks Feature Completeness. Sistem ini juga dinyatakan baik dan layak untuk digunakan karena seluruh fungsinya dapat berjalan dengan baik dan tidak ditemukan permasalahan yang mempengaruhi usability sistem berdasarkan skala Severity Rating dari hasil pengujian Think Aloud kepada para pengguna yaitu Admin Ormawa dan Admin Kantor WR III UNJ. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sistem Informasi Portal Kegiatan Kemahasiswaan UNJ layak untuk digunakan di lingkungan UNJ sebagai media publikasi kegiatan kemahasiswaan oleh Ormawa UNJ dan Kantor WR III UNJ. ***** This research raises problems regarding the publication of student activities in the UNJ environment. The problems found include the difficulty of Ormawa UNJ in obtaining activity participants, the need to evaluate the publication media that have been used and the need for a centralized web-based information system for the publication of student activities at UNJ. This research aims to develop a Web-based UNJ Student Activity Portal Information System using the Throwaway Prototyping method to be able to assist Ormawa and the Office of WR III UNJ in publishing student activities from the study program level to the general level. This system development is carried out starting from the outline requirements stage to collect general specifications of the system to be built to the WR III Office, develop prototype to describe the original product to be developed based on general specifications using Figma, evaluate prototype to evaluate prototype conformity with general specifications, specify system to produce final specifications of the system to be developed, develop software to develop the final product using WordPress CMS in accordance with the final specifications, validate system to test and validate the system in accordance with the final specifications from the aspects of functional suitability using Black Box Testing and usability using Think Aloud, to delivered software system to submit the system to the Office of WR III UNJ. UNJ UNJ Student Activity Portal Information System is stated to be good in the aspect of functional suitability based on the results of Black Box Testing with a value of 1 using the Feature Completeness matrix. This system is also declared good and suitable for use because all its functions can run well and there are no problems that affect the usability of the system based on the Severity Rating scale from the results of the Think Aloud test to users, namely Admin Ormawa and Office Admin WR III UNJ. So it can be concluded that the UNJ Student Activity Portal Information System is suitable to be used within UNJ as a medium for publication of student activities by Ormawa UNJ and the Office of WR III UNJ.
