Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kecamatan Bekasi Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan melibatkan 102 guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Bekasi Barat sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi product moment, uji t, dan uji koefisien determinasi dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji signifikansi regresi, dan uji linearitas. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 8.290 lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1.984. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi (r2) supervisi akademik kepala sekolah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 0.407 atau 40,7% terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bekasi Barat. ***** The study aims to determine the relationship between the principal's academic supervision and teacher pedagogical competence at Public Junior High Schools in West Bekasi District. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire involving 102 state junior high school teachers in West Bekasi District as the research sample. The data analysis techniques to test the hypothesis includes product moment correlation test, t test, and coefficient of determination test by first carrying out prerequisite tests which include normality tests, regression significance tests, and linearity tests. From the results of the hypothesis testing, the calculated tcount of 8.290, which is greater than ttable of 1.984. Based on the coefficient of determination (r2) the principal's academic supervision contributes 0.407 or 40.7% to the teacher's pedagogical competence. The result of this study can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the principal's academic supervision on teacher pedagogical competence at SMP Negeri Bekasi Barat District.
