Abstract
*ABSTRAK* Maggot BSF bisa digunakan sebagai pakan ternak karena mengandung banyak nutrisi, terutama protein mencapai 50%, yang dipengaruhi oleh jenis pakan. Limbah ampas tahu dan kulit buah kakao merupakan pilihan alternatif untuk pakan maggot BSF. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pemberian khamir P. cecembensis UNJCC Y-157 dan kapang A. niger UNJCC F-49 dengan waktu fermentasi berbeda terhadap kualitas nutrisi limbah ampas tahu dan kulit buah kakao, pertumbuhan, dan kandungan protein maggot BSF. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan pakan berupa limbah ampas tahu dan kulit buah kakao yang diinokulasikan dengan khamir P. cecembensis UNJCC Y-157 dan kapang A. niger UNJCC F-49 dengan variasi waktu fermentasi yaitu 0,3,6, dan 9 hari. Kualitas nutrisi media fermentasi diujikan melalui analisis proksimat berupa protein dan serat kasar. Pertumbuhan maggot diukur melalui parameter panjang dan bobot tubuh, serta kandungan protein. Data kandungan nutrisi diperoleh dengan uji proksimat, sedangkan pertumbuhan dianalisis menggunakan One-way ANOVA dan uji Duncan. Kandungan nutrisi media fermentasi dengan nilai paling baik adalah pada perlakuan kapang A. niger waktu fermentasi 0 hari yaitu 20,21% protein, dan 18,62% serat kasar. Nilai pertumbuhan maggot paling tinggi adalah pada perlakuan kombinasi waktu fermentasi 3 hari inokulum kombinasi yaitu 2,18 ± 0,11 cm pada panjang, 0,22 ± 0,03 g pada bobot, dan 1,47 ± 0,19 % pada laju pertumbuhan. Kandungan protein maggot pada perlakuan kapang A. niger waktu fermentasi 0 hari memiliki nilai kandungan protein paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 44,44%. *ABSTRACT* BSF maggot can be used as animal feed because it contains a lot of nutriens, especially up to 50% protein, which is influenced by the type of feed. Tofu dregs and cocoa pod skin waste are alternative choices for BSF maggot feed. This study aimed to determine the effect of the yeast P. cecembensis UNJCC Y-157 and A. niger mold UNJCC F-49 with different fermentation times on the nutritional quality of tofu waste and cocoa pod husks, growth, and BSF maggot protein content. The research method was experimental using feed in the form of tofu dregs and cocoa pod husks inoculated with yeast P. cecembensis UNJCC Y-157 and A. niger mold UNJCC F-49 with variations in fermentation time of 0, 3, 6, and 9 days. The nutritional quality of the fermentation media was tested through proximate analysis in the form of protein and crude fiber. Maggot growth was indicated by measuring body length and weight, as well as protein content. Nutrien content data was obtained by proximate test, while growth was analyzed using One-way ANOVA and Duncan's test. The nutrien content of the fermentation media with the best value was in the treatment of A. niger with 0 day of fermentation, namely 20.21% protein and 18.62% crude fiber. The highest maggot growth value was in the combined treatment of 3 days of fermentation, namely 2.18 ± 0.11 cm in length, 0,22 ± 0,03 g in weight, and 1,47 ± 0,19 % in growth rate. Maggot protein content in the treatment of A. niger during 0 day of fermentation had the highest protein content value of 44.44%.
