Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh Orang tua dengan perawatan gigi anak usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif assosiatif dengan menggunakan metode survei, dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dan sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak usia sekolah dasar yang berdomisili di Kelurahan Malaka Jaya Duren Sawit Jakarta Timur. Adapun jumlah sample orang tua adalah 158 orang dengan kesesuaian masalah dan pertimbangan pada studi pendahuluan. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Pengambilan data menggunakan tehnik proportionate random sampling dengan 158 masyarakat yang mewakili Kelurahan Malaka Jaya Duren Sawit Jakarta Timur. Pengumpulan data penelitian mulai bulan Juli tahun 2023. Teknik analisis data uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji korelasi menggunakan Pearson Product Moment Correlation, serta uji signifikansi korelasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan perawatan gigi anak usia sekolah dasar dengan nilai kolerasi r sebesar 0,466 dan dengan nilai signifikasi 0,00<0,005. Artinya, hubungan yang dihasilkan sedang. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh Orang tua dengan perawatan gigi anak usia sekolah demikian, semakin baik pola asuh Orang tua semakin baik juga anak merawat giginya ***** This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting style and dental care for elementary school-age children. This research is a quantitative research using a survey method, with a correlational approach. The population and targets in this study are parents who have elementary school-age children who live in the Malaka Jaya Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. The number of samples of parents is 158 people with the suitability of problems and considerations in the preliminary study. Collecting data in this study using a questionnaire. Data was collected using a proportionate random sampling technique with 158 people representing the Malaka Jaya Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. Research data collection began in July 2023. The prerequisite test data analysis technique used the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and the correlation test used the Pearson Product Moment Correlation, as well as the correlation significance test. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between parenting parents and dental care for elementary school-age children with a correlation value of 0.466 and a significance value of 0.00 <0.005. That is, the resulting relationship is moderate. This study shows that there is a relationship between parenting style and dental care for school-age children. Thus, the better the parenting style, the better the children will take care of their teeth.
