Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media edukasi booklet tentang perkembangan motorik anak dalam upaya memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan orang tua balita di Posyandu Permata Bunda RW.014 dalam topik perkembangan motorik anak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Develoopment). Dalam pengembangan media edukasi ini dilakukan group pre-test dan post-test kepada 30 orang tua balita sebagai kelompok sasaran. Pengembangan media dilakukan melalui lima tahap, yaitu tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Uji kelayakan produk atau media dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, sedangkan untuk uji lapangan dilakukan kepada pengguna atau sasaran media. Uji kelayakan media yang telah dilakukan oleh ahli media memperoleh hasil presentase sebesar 87,5% atau sangat layak, sedangkan uji kelayakan materi yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi memperoleh hasil sebesar 73% atau layak. Sementara itu, uji lapangan yang dilakukan kepada pengguna atau sasaran media dipeorleh hasil sebesar 91% atau sangat layak, dimana hasil dari uji kelayakan dan uji lapangan yang telah diperoleh, dapat dikatakan bahwa media tersebut mampu atau sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran bagi pengguna. Hasil evaluasi yang juga dilakukan kepada sasaran bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai setelah dilakukannya edukasi dengan booklet tersebut, yang dibuktikan dengan perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test dengan rata-rata hasil nilai pre-test sebesar 34.4 dengan kriteria penilaian tidak paham, dan rata-rata hasil nilai post-test sebesar 88 Dengan kriteria penilaian sangat paham. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media booklet Perkembangan Motorik Anak efektif digunakan sebagai media edukasi atau belajar orang tua balita dalam upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua balita dalam topik perkembangan motorik anak di Posyandu Permata Bunda RW.014, Jatinegara. ***** The purpose of this study is to create an educational booklet on child motor development. The booklet is aimed at providing parents of toddlers at Posyandu Permata Bunda RW.014 with increased knowledge of this topic. This is a research and development study. A pre-test and post-test were conducted on 30 parents of toddlers who served as the target group for the development of this educational media. Media development entails five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Media and material experts perform product feasibility testing, while user or media-targeted field testing is done. The media feasibility test, conducted by media experts, rated the media's feasibility at 87.5%. The material feasibility test, conducted by material experts, rated the media feasible at 73%. The field test, conducted among users or media targets, rated the media's feasibility at 91%. Considering the results of both the feasibility and field tests, it can be concluded that the media is highly feasible as a learning tool for users. The results of the evaluation were also carried out to the objective that there was an increase in value after education with the booklet, as evidenced by the comparison of the pre-test and post-test results with an average pre-test score of 34.4 with the evaluation criterion of not understanding, and the average post-test score of 88 with the evaluation criterion of very understanding. Thus, it can be concluded that the Child Motor Development booklet media is effectively used as an educational or learning media for parents of young children in an effort to increase the knowledge of parents of young children on the topic of child motor development in Posyandu Permata Bunda RW.014, Jatinegara.
