Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendesain, membuat dan menilai produk rompi (vest) motif oneline art teknik sulaman melekatkan benang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan pre-experimental design, one-shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument angket terdiri dari 13 pertanyaan yang diberi kepada 4 panelis ahli untuk menilai, dengan variable tunggal yaitu penilaian produk rompi (vest) motif oneline art teknik melekatkan benang, serta indikator berupa dimensi kualitas produk, unsur desain dan prinsip desain. Penilaian diukur dengan rating scale. Hasil penelitian pada indikator dimensi kualitas produk memperoleh skor tertinggi dengan nilai 82,4% dengan hasil sangat bagus, Pada indikator prinsip desain memperoleh skor terendah dengan nilai 77,33% dengan hasil bagus. Hasil penelitian dari lima desain produk rompi (vest) upcycle motif oneline art Teknik sulaman melekatkan benang, desain 3 mendapat skor tertinggi dengan nilai 84,63%, berdasarkan pendapat panelis, bahwa hasil akhir, kesesuaian produk dengan desain, pemilihan motif sangat sesuai penerapannya, pemilihan bentuk hiasan, kesesuaian motif, ukuran, warna dan tekstur sangat sesuai dalam penerapannya sebagai hiasan pada rompi (vest) upcycle, serta secara keseluruhan memiliki harmoni, proporsi yang seimbang dan menjadi pusat perhatian pada penyusunan Teknik melekatkan benang pada rompi (vest) upcycle. Keseluruhan nilai akhir produk rompi (vest) upcycle Teknik sulaman melekatkan benangdapat menjadi alternatif teknik upcycling dalam memperpanjang masa pakai busana. Kata kunci: Penilaian produk, rompi (vest), Secondhand celana denim, Upcycling fashion, dan sustainable fashion. ***** This research was conducted to design, manufacture and evaluate vest products with oneline art motifs, embroidery techniques attaching threads. The research method used in this study is descriptive quantitative with a preexperimental design approach, one-shot case study. The data collection technique used a questionnaire instrument consisting of 13 questions given to 4 expert panelists to assess, with a single variable, namely the evaluation of the oneline art motif vest product, the technique of attaching threads, as well as indicators in the form of product quality dimensions, design elements and design principles. Rating is measured by rating scale. The results of the study on the product quality dimension indicator obtained the highest score with a value of 82.4% with very good results. The design principles indicator obtained the lowest score with a value of 77,33% with good results. The results of the research on five vest product designs (vest) upcycle motifs oneline art embroidery technique attaching threads, design 3 got the highest score with a value of 84.63%, based on the opinion of the panelists, that the final result, the suitability of the product with the design, the choice of motifs is very suitable for its application, the selection of decorative shapes, suitability of motifs, sizes, colors and textures is very suitable in its application as decoration on upcycle vests, and as a whole has harmony, balanced proportions and becomes the center of attention in the preparation of the technique of attaching thread to the upcycle vest. The overall value of the end product is an upcycle vest. The technique of embroidering threads can be an alternative to upcycling techniques in extending the life of clothing.
