Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) ini adalah mengembangkan e-modul 5S-Kaizen untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan menguji kelayakan media untuk dimanfaatkan oleh peserta pelatihan di Pusat Pengembangan Produktivitas Daerah DKI Jakarta. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Multimedia Life Cycle (MDLC), dikembangkan oleh Luther-Sutopo yang terdiri dari 6 tahap, yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing dan distribution. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen angket yang diujikan kepada 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli media, dan 20 peserta pelatihan 5S-Kaizen Angkatan III, dan pendekatan kualitatif berupa komentar dan saran yang diberikan oleh para ahli dan pengguna. Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan tingkat pemahaman peserta pelatihan setelah diberikan e-modul 5S-Kaizen sebagai media pembelajaran dilakukan uji pretest dan post-test. Data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis dengan jenis analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) setelah diuji kelayakan media modul 5S-Kaizen oleh ahli materi, dinyatakan bahwa produk telah mencapai tingkat kelayakan sangat valid dengan persentase sebesar 97%, 2) setelah diuji kelayakan media modul 5S-Kaizen oleh ahli media, dinyatakan bahwa produk telah mencapai tingkat kelayakan sangat valid dengan persentase sebesar 90%, 3) setelah diuji kelayakan media modul 5S-Kaizen oleh pengguna, dinyatakan bahwa produk telah mencapai kelayakan sangat valid dengan persentase sebesar 88,87% dan 4) nilai rata-rata pretest dan post-test dari 20 peserta pelatihan, didapatkan bahwa nilai rata-rata post-test peserta mengalami peningkatan yaitu 87,5 dari hasil pretest yaitu 56. Sehingga pengembangan e-modul 5S-Kaizen dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta pelatihan. ***** The aim of this research and development is to develop the 5S-Kaizen e-module to increase the understanding and test the media’s viability for use by the training participants at the DKI Jakarta Regional Productivity Development Center. The development method used was the Multimedia Life Cycle (MDLC), developed by Luther-Sutopo and consisting of six stages; concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing and distribution. The data collection technique is carried out through a quantitative and qualitative approach, with a quantifiable approach using a questionnaire instrument tested on 1 material expert, 1 media expert, and 20 participants in the 5S-Kaizen training batch III, and a qualitational approach in the form of comments and advice given by experts and users. To find out if there is any difference in the level of understanding of the training participants after being given the e-module 5S-Kaizen as a learning medium performed a pretest and post-test. The data obtained is then analyzed with a type of descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study are: 1) after testing the media validity of the 5S-Kaizen module by a material expert, it is stated that the product has achieved a highly valid media credibility level with a percentage of 97%, 2) after testing the media authenticity of 5S-Kaizen modules by media experts, it has been determined that a product has reached a very valid media rating with a percent of 90%, 3) after testing the media reliability of 5S-Kaisen module of the user, it was stated, that the products have reached the high validity level with the percentages of 88.87%, and 4) average values of pre-test and post-test of 20 training participants, they have found that the average value of the participants after the test is higher than the result of the pretest, which is 87.5 with a pre-use value of 56. It can then be concluded that the development of the 5S-Kaizen e-module can be used as a learning medium to improve the understanding of the training participants.
