Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Terstruktur terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode quasi-experiment dengan desain post-test only control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan oleh penelitian ini adalah Two Stage Sampling. Tahap pertama yang dilakukan, yaitu dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Tahap kedua dengan menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS 3 dan XI IPS 4 di SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diukur menggunakan instrumen penelitian yaitu 5 soal uraian pada materi turunan fungsi aljabar yang telah valid dan reliabel. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 didapat bahwa nilai P_value= 0,006312 sehingga P_value<0,05 , maka H_0 ditolak artinya rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Terstruktur lebih tinggi dari rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai Cliff’s Delta (δ) yang diperoleh sebesar +0,374 yang termasuk pada berpengaruh positif pada kriteria sedang. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah didapat, maka disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Terstruktur terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Structured Student Worksheets on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with a post-test only control group design.. The sampling technique used in this study is Two Stage Sampling. The first stage was carried out, namely by using purposive sampling. The second stage is using Cluster Random Sampling. The research sample was students of class XI IPS 3 and XI IPS 4 at SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta. The ability to understand students' mathematical concepts was measured using research instruments, namely 5 description questions on material derived from algebraic functions that were valid and reliable. The results of testing the hypothesis using the Mann Whitney U test with a significant level of α = 0.05 found that the value of P_value= 0,006312 so that P_value< 0,05 , then H_0 is rejected, this means that the average ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who are taught using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Structured Student Worksheets is higher than the average ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who are taught by conventional learning. The Cliff’s Delta (δ) value obtained was +0,374 which included the influence positive at moderate criteria. Based on the results that have been obtained, it is concluded that there is an influence from the application of Problem Based Learning assisted by Structured Student Worksheets on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of SMA Negeri 31 Jakarta students.
