Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar komik digital berbasis open ended pada materi pecahan kelas V sekolah dasar dan menguji kelayakan serta keefektivitasannya dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development model pengembangan Hannafin and Peck, yaitu analysis, design, development and implementation. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 05 Pagi, Jakarta Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengolah data respon validator dan penggunaan dengan menggunakan rating scale dengan skala 5, kemudian dikonvensi menjadi data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata dari ahli sebesar 76,87% dengan kategori baik; sedangkan respon pengguna guru sebesar 82,14% dengan kategori sangat baik dan respon pengguna peserta didik rata-ratanya sebesar 94,56% dengan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, hasil penelitian melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peroleh skor sebesar 0,72 yang termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar komik digital berbasis open ended yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi pecahan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik. ***** This research and development is to produce a product in the form of digital comic teaching materials based on open ended on fractional material for grade V elementary schools and to test its feasibility and effectiveness of it in increasing student learning independence. The research method used is the Research and Development model of Hannafin and Peck's development, namely analysis, design, development and implementation. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at SDN Utan Kayu Selatan 05 Pagi, East Jakarta. Data collection techniques used in research are observation, interviews, questionnaires, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques are carried out by processing validator response data and usage using a rating scale with a scale of 5, then converted into qualitative data. The results showed that the average of the experts was 76.87% in the good category; while the response of teacher users was 82.14% in the very good category and the student user response averaged 94.56% in the very good category. In addition, the results of the study through the pre-test and post-test showed a score of 0.72 which was included in the high criteria. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the digital comic teaching materials based on open ended developed are appropriate and effective for use in learning mathematics, especially in fraction material to increase students' learning independence.
