Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui segmentasi sungai berdasarkan debit, luas penampang, kecepatan aliran Arung Jeram Progo Bawah di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakanadalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sungai Progo penentuan titik sempel menggunakan simple random sampling. Titik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dengan pengukuran di lapangan dan data sekunder terkait daerah penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan trip III mencakup segmentasi I sampai XIV, trip II mencakup segmentasi V sampai XIV, trip I mencakup segmentasi VIII sampai XIV, dan trip children mencakup segmentasi XII sampai XIV. Setiap segmentasi mempunyai karakteristik dan kriteria berbeda yang menjadikan perbedaan tingkat kesulitan mengarungi. Untuk trip III lebih baik dilakukan oleh orang dewasa dan ahli. Untuk trip II lebih baik dilakukan oleh Orang dewasa dan pemula. Untuk trip I lebih baik digunakan untuk Pemula, trip children lebih baik digunakan untuk pemula dan anak anak. This study aims to determine the river segmentation based on discharge, cross-sectional area, flow velocity of Progo Lower Rafting in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used is descriptive survey approach. The population in this study is the Progo river determination of the sample point using simple random sampling. The point of taking data in this study is field measurements and secondary data related to the study area.The results showed that trip III included segmentation I to XIV, trip II included segmentation V to XIV, trip I included segmentation VIII to XIV, and trip childrenincluded segmentation XII to XIV. Each segmentation has different characteristics and criteria that make different levels of difficulty in wading. Trip III is better for adults and experts. For trip II it is better done by adults and beginners. For trip I it is better to use for beginners, trip childrenare better used for beginners and children.
