Abstract

Masker wajah dapat diperoleh dalam berbagai bentuk sediaan, salah satunya dalam bentuk masker wajah gel peel off. Masker wajah gel peel off merupakan salah satu jenis masker wajah yang mempunyai keunggulan dalam penggunaanya yaitu dapat dengan mudah dilepas atau diangkat seperti membran elastis (Basuki. S: 2003). Masker dioleskan dengan bantuan kuas pada seluruh wajah leher dan pundak kecuali bagian mata dan bibir karena bagian tersebut sangat sensitif. Salah satu bahan alam yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan masker kaya antioksidan ialah kulit lemon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh kadar ekstrak ethanol kulit lemon terhadap kualitas masker gel peel off. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah ekstrak ethanol kulit lemon dengan konsentrasi 10%, 12,5%, 15%, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kualitas masker kadar sediaan masker gel peel off. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi melalui uji organoleptik yang dilakukan oleh 3 ahli farmasi. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas dengan program SPSS dan dilanjutkan uji Friedman Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa bahwa penggunaan kadar ekstrak ethanol kulit lemon yang berbeda tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kualitas masker gel peel off. Dan ekstrak ethanol kulit lemon dapat diformula sikan dalam sediaan masker gel peel off dengan variasi konsentrasi 10%, 12,5%, dan 15%. ***** Facial masks are available in various formulations, one of which is in the form of peel off gel face masks. Peel off gel face masks are a type of facial mask that has the advantage of being easily removed or peeled off like elastic membranes (Basuki, S: 2003). The mask is applied with the help of a brush to the entire face, neck, and shoulders, excluding the eye and lip areas due to their sensitivity. One natural ingredient that can be used as a mask material rich in antioxidants is lemon peel. This study aims to determine the influence of the ethanol extract content from lemon peel on the quality of peel off gel masks. This study uses a quantitative experimental research method. The independent variable in this study is the ethanol extract content from lemon peel with concentrations of 10%, 12.5%, and 15%, while the dependent variable is the quality of the peel off gel mask formulation. The data collection technique used is observation through organoleptic tests conducted by three pharmaceutical experts. Data analysis is done using the normality test with the SPSS program, followed by the Friedman Test. Based on the research results and discussion, it is shown that the use of different levels of ethanol extract from lemon peel does not have a significant influence on the quality of peel off gel masks. And the ethanol extract from lemon peel can be formulated in peel off gel mask preparations with variations of 10%, 12.5%, and 15% concentrations.
