Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi pendekatan Starter Experiment dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sehingga diharapkan dapat diterapkan oleh para guru dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu berupa systematic literature review dengan cara mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data berupa artikel penelitian yang relevan dengan topik yang dikaji. Pengumpulan dan pengkajian data pada penelitian ini menggunakan model Kitchenham yaitu Planning, Conducting dan Reporting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Starter Experiment sangat cocok untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran IPA karena sesuai dengan hakikat IPA sebagai sikap, proses, produk dan aplikasi yang dapat membuat siswa memperoleh hasil belajar yang baik bahkan mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Oleh sebab itu, implementasi pendekatan Starter Experiment merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang sangat penting dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. ***** The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of starter experiment approach in improving students learning outcomes which expected to be applied by teachers in the process of learning science. The type of this research is a systematic literature review by collecting and analyzing data in the form research articles which relevant to the topic. The collection and assessment of data in this research using the model of Kitchenham, named planning, conducting and reporting. The results showed that the starter experiment approach is very suitable to be implemented in learning science because it is in accordance with the nature of science as attitudes, processes, products and applications that can make the students acquire the learning outcomes that are good even experiencing a significant increase. Therefore, the implementation of starter experiment approach is a learning approach which is very important and effective to improve Science learning outcomes.
