Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berfokus pada implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 99 Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan guru dan kesulitan atau kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 99 Jakarta telah terlaksana dengan baik. Adapun program penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila yang bertujuan untuk memberikan kebebasan dan kemandirian kepada peserta didik dalam menentukan minat dan bakat yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 99 Jakarta memiliki beberapa kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh kepala sekolah dan guru, yaitu: (1) kesulitan dalam memisahkan perspektif kurikulum 2013 dengan kurikulum merdeka, (2) kesulitan dalam mendesain perangkat pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini kurangnya pemahaman guru terkait dengan cara menurunkan atau menerjemahkan capaian pembelajaran menjadi tujuan pembelajaran, (3) beberapa guru gagap akan Ilmu Teknologi (IT), dan (4) guru belum memiliki pengalaman kemerdekaan belajar karena masih dalam tahun pertama penerapan. ***** ABSTRACT This research focuses on the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 99 Jakarta. This study aims to analyze the ability of teachers and the difficulties or obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This research uses a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. The data sources of this research were obtained from observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 99 Jakarta was well implemented. The program strengthens the Pancasila student profile which aims to provide freedom and independence to students in determining the interests and talents possessed by students. In implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 99 Jakarta, there are several difficulties faced by principals and teachers, namely: (1) difficulties in separating the perspectives of the 2013 Curriculum from the Merdeka Curriculum, (2) difficulties in designing learning tools. In this case, the teacher's lack of understanding of how to reduce or translate learning outcomes into learning objectives, (3) some teachers are stuttering in Technology (IT), and (4) teachers do not yet have learning independence experience because they are still in the first year of implementation.
