Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan penelitian ini untuk merencanakan septictank komunal di kawasan Ciracas. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 5 bulan, terhitung sejak Januari 2023 sampai dengan Juni 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rumus perhitungan manning. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan pengamatan di lokasi peneitian. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dimensi pipa yang dipakai adalah 6 ½ inchi atau 165,1 mm. Sedangkan dimensi pipa yang digunakan untuk mengalirkan air kotor dari sambungan rumah ke tangki septik yang dipakai adalah 14 ½ inchi atau 368,5 mm. Tangki septik komunal yang digunakan menggunakan sistem Up Flow filter yang dibagi kedalam 3 ruang. Ruang I dan Ruang II memiliki dimensi 2,5 m x 1,25 m x 2m. Dan ruang III merupakan ruang up flow filter yang memiliki dimensi 1,5 m x 1,25 m x 2 m. Pipa yang digunakan merupakan pipa PVC. ***** The purpose of this study is to conduct this research to plan a communal septic tank in the Ciracas area. This research was conducted for 5 months from January 2023 to June 2023. This study uses the Manning calculation formula. Data collection techniques using documentation and observation at the research location. The data analysis technique in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the dimensions of the pipe used were 6 ½ inches or 165.1 mm. While the dimensions of the pipe used to drain dirty water from the house connection to the septic tank used is 14 ½ inches or 368.5 mm. The communal septic tank used uses an Up Flow filter system which is divided into 3 chambers. Room I and Room II have dimensions of 2.5 m x 1.25 m x 2 m. And room III is an up flow filter room which has dimensions of 1.5 m x 1.25 m x 2 m. The pipe used is a PVC pipe.
